Here's one I heard for the first time today, it's about the first socialists. https://youtu.be/SWRpl2S9iwk

There are so many other great ones though. Fuck the police by NWA for instance is extremely relevant.

The Internationale (English)

"The Internationale" (French: L'Internationale) is a left-wing anthem. It has been a standard of the socialist movement since the late 19th century, when the...

Another great one is the international anthem of Communists around the world, people who came together to build a better world free of bosses, and wage labor, landlords, and property which has more rights than people.

There are no neutrals there, either you're with the protestors or you're a bootlicker for the police.

Round the time that the doors of the jail cells

How far can our anti-police music go? I wouldn't want to get banned or accused of advocating violence.

Who am I?
Am I not unique?
Maybe I'm not here
At all
Look, the fakers
Blinding us with lies
The breakers of us all
Oh, it's useless
What could it mean that we're here?
Can we make a difference?
If we don't break out of here?
Wake up, get up, get out there
Raise your voice against liars
Feed your anger like fire
Why does nobody want change?
Just imagine you're out there
Swatting lies in the makin'
Can't move fast without breakin'
If you hold on life won't change

The fakers, are all sick at heart
Their faces hiding their fear
They look down on, all the rest of us
Like they're some special breed
Who's the high lord...
Who thinks he's better than us?
Ain't it a crime that, is there a mission for us?
Who is that high lord...
Who'd kill a million of us?
And as the bell tolls...
Is there no remission for us?
Wake up, get up, get out there
There's more to life than their way
If you live you cannot stay
Why does nobody want change?
Let your voices ring out, yeah
Take the mask off and be free
Find yourself in the debris
If you hold on life won't change
Wake up, get up, get out there
Raise your voice against liars
Feed your anger like fire
Why does nobody want change?
Just imagine you're out there
Swatting lies in the makin'
Can't move fast without breakin'
If you hold on life won't change

Persona 5 - Life Will Change (中英歌詞)

Persona 5 Original Soundtrack Disc.104.Life Will Change歌手:Lyn 作詞:Benjamin Franklin 作曲:目黒将司The copyright of this video is belong to ATLUS

It's not a game
I'm not a robot AI challenging you
I'm not a phantom
I'm in your face and
I'm here to see it through

Right before your eyes
Watch us multiply
Come to claim our rights - it's time

As our power grows
Tryin' to stop us shows
(You) Might as well go try'n stop time

So you know that we're out there
Swatting lies in the making
Can't move fast without breaking
Can't hold on or life won't change

And our voices ring out, yeah
Took the mask off to feel free
Fought it out in the debris
Now we know that life will change

Ain't it a shame
I'm not a figment of your ailing old mind
I'm just as real as
I'm just as dangerous
As you, so know you'll find

A taste of your own meds
Fire in every breath
Fire inside your head, your heart

And as your crippled brain
Tries to fight in vain
Your empire will fall apart

And you'll know we were out there
Swatted lies in the making
Your empire for the taking
Can't hold on or life won't change

And our voices rang out, here
Took the mask off to feel free
Fought it out in the debris
Now we know that life will change

You want to see something funny? I by "funny" I mean a complete and utter lack of self-awareness:

These people live in the one of the wealthiest neighborhoods in Madrid (and, therefore, one of the wealthiest of all Spain!), mostly vote (and are supported by) right wing parties (People's Party and VOX) and they are protesting against our left-wing government because they don't want to be confined anymore... by singing "Bella Ciao".

Edit: I was informed this video was not real, so I edited my post. Nevertheless, the song still stands.

"Bella ciao" (Italian pronunciation: [ˈbɛlla ˈtʃaːo]; "Goodbye beautiful") is an Italian protest folk song that originated in the hardships of the mondina women, the paddy field workers in the late 19th century who sang it to protest against harsh working conditions in the paddy fields of North Italy. The song was modified and adopted as an anthem of the anti-fascist resistance by the Italian partisans between 1943 and 1945 during the Italian Resistance, the resistance of Italian partisans against the Nazi German forces occupying Italy, and, during the Italian Civil War, the Italian partisan struggle against the fascist Italian Social Republic and its Nazi German allies. Versions of "Bella ciao" are sung worldwide as an anti-fascist hymn of freedom and resistance.

Here's a proper version of the original:

No.

One of the problems we have at home is that the left is every bit as adept as the right at putting out fake news and all manners of distortions. It's impossible to get anything resembling proper news from Spanish social media.

lots of great punk songs already, so I will go in a different direction.

So I was looking at Doom Patrol videos earlier today, and was reminded of this great scene.

Yes, this is a cover of a Kelly Clarkson song, but stick with me and actually read the lyrics.

"
We come into this world unknown
But know that we are not alone
They try and knock us down
But change is coming, it's our time now

"

"
Hey everybody loses it
Everybody wants to throw it all away sometimes
And hey, yeah I know what you're going through
Don't let it get the best of you, you'll make it out alive
Oh, people like us we've gotta stick together
Keep your head up, nothing lasts forever
Here's to the damned to the lost and forgotten
It's hard to get high when you're living on the bottom

Oh woah oh oh woah oh
We are all misfits living in a world on fire
Oh woah oh oh woah oh
Sing it for the people like us, the people like us

Hey, this is not a funeral
It's a revolution, after all your tears have turned to rage

Just wait, everything will be okay
Even when you're feeling like it's going down in flames
"

"
They can't do nothing to you, they can't do nothing to me
This is the life that we choose, this is the life that we bleed
So throw your fists in the air, come out, come out if you dare
Tonight we're gonna change forever
"

Obviously Rage Against the Machine is god tier protest music but they have been mentioned numerous times already.

These two Green Day songs hit harder during these times. Both from the Revolution Radio album no American Idiot but solid album overall.
