Christ, just saw that Twitter post and I cannot even begin to wrap my head around why exactly people are siding with nonces like him. Like you cannot even argue that this isn't blatant racism at this point. Using the wrong shade? "Uh, it's just color theory!" Blatantly drawing the darkskinned character as white? "Haha that's just to get back at you smelly liberals for policing other peoples' art!" But then how can you possibly defend this shit? "Uh, it's just a monkey, what are you even complaining about?"
There are many many people who are unapologetically racist. Some hide it behind "it's just a joke lol!" Or so called "irony"
But these are the same people who would argue that it's okay to avoid dating black people, or why it's totally fine to do blackface.

Patreon porn money can be some really good money. There are folks who have started projects that had people shelling out thousands of dollars and then abandoned them running with the money.
Thristy folks pay a lot and in some cases may be willing to ignore the artist's offences. That said I think his patreon shows donors, not dollars, so we don't know how he's living

I got people in my discord to report the image, people in this thread are reporting this image, I reported the image and.....twitter still fucking sucks.

You can link the Tweet while filling out a report on Patreon. You need to sign up for an account to access the ability to report though.
So it'd probably be best for you to do that and move on rather than just feed this more oxygen.
This is the best comment on the whole thing tbh, it is good that people are talking about it even though some of the criticisms toward the original artist have been a bit harsh. It doesn't make anyone an SJW to be upset, though. That one person definitely shouldn't have downloaded the original art and changed the colors then not taken it down when the artist asked, that was disrespectful imo
