I forget which brand, maybe Marie Calendar's, but there is a buffalo chicken and Mac and cheese that's pretty amazing.

Single best frozen Mac and cheese out there today.

Only problem is that it's like a once every four months kind of thing. Mountain of sodium in this.

Stouffers, literally the best shit to come from the East Side Suburbs of Cleveland.

I used to like frozen stuff, especially Trader Joe's but man that stuff will kill you. In a pinch in a rare time, yeah, but usually no. Granted we have frozen waffles for the kiddos, I know I am a terrible person, and frozen chicken sausages, but you know, I aint making my own breakfast sausage atm.

As expected with processed food, high in sodium.

If you ate 2,000 calories of that you'd have 4500 mg of sodium

Damn right. Even America's Test Kitchen gave it the best frozen pizza award.

Honest to god, out of all the damn Frozen Pizzas I have ever eaten, DiGiorno is among the worst I have ever had the pleasure of eating.

Maybe I'm in the minority here, but I always see people praise their Pizzas and I'm just like... "Why?".

Yuck! My 10 year old brother likes those things but they are gross.

When it comes to microwaveable food, this is my go-to

Jamaican/Carribbean style Chicken and Veggie patties - Regular, Jerk or Curry. I live near an International Foods grocer so I can get the Shrimp patties and Coco Bread too.I am blessed.

None of these are Zatarain's Blackened Chicken Alfredo, so you're objectively wrong. Behold the king of frozen food and tremble!

Pfft. Cheese is objectively the best fucking thing humanity has ever created.

Cheese literally makes anything better.

Fish✔️
Poptarts✔️
Potato Salad✔️
Circus Peanuts❌

Circus Peanuts is disgusting, and only suitable to entice feral hogs. My Unified Theory of Cheese may have some holes in it

I will fund this valuable work.

I think it's funny how many of these frozen meals feel the need to add some woman's name to the box to make it seem more Home-y

Maybe. Probably waaaay more tasty and healthy if you make it yourself with fresh ingredients though. More fun and rewarding too.

It blows my mind that people actually buy frozen dinners.

Look at the american obese rate. Does it really blow your mind that most people prefer to buy good tasting (thanks sodium) and quick to prepare food? I can't blame them. Having heard the horror stories of Au Pair friends of mine from shopping in America was eye opening. Can you buy healthy things? Yes. Is it easier than junk food? No.

i fucking love cheap ass frozen lasagna. it is a guilty pleasure of mine

Oh I remember the horse meat in Germany mhhhh. Lasagne is one of the worst frozen products everywhere.

Frozen meals can be great these days I agree. At out supermarkets here they sell Teriyaki beef or Indian curry meals.

In the end these are meals for poor people because take out would win every time so you have to look at price/performance.

Stouffers and Boston Market are legit. My favorites are Stouffers Spaghetti & Meatballs (not the meat sauce one, which oddly tastes funky) and Boston Market's Chicken Parmesan.

Man I'm glad I'm not some snob that can't enjoy a decent frozen meal.

Super easy and convenient for busy days.

Also, "OMG 700mg SODIUM?!?!" -- The American Heart Association recommends no more than 2,300 milligrams (mg) a day -- not a problem if you're not eating salty snacks between every meal.

Why is frozen food in the USA so bad?

In the UK frozen/pre-packaged meals are quite commonplace and of a pretty high quality.
