How are you under that impression when they literally prefaced the AMA by saying they were assured by moderators they'd keep the nasty stuff away?
more of a cesspool. the fact that even is possible blows my mind.
I think I know who "THQNfabian" is, but I'm not sure about naming and shaming since I cannot guarantee it. But only 1 person I can find fits the bill and he is another social media focused guy and not a higher up this time.
So, a few things:
1. I am don't know who THQN_Fabian - Would like to know who this person is
2. To those who are saying people are over-reacting- I am going through the actual AMA (it's truly something else). The THQ people have been answering questions and sandwiched between the queries and their replies (setting aside the quality of responses themselves) are stuff like "DO YOU HATE NIGGERS? BECAUSE I DO.", "RESETERA ON SUICIDE WATCH GET FUCKED, NIGGERS" and myriad reference to "SJW", Nazi and lolis. Suffice it to say, these people from THQN can clearly ALL THESE and DESPITE that, ALL of THAT, they continued to engage with these people.
I earlier said that they made a massive error. Now, I think they are catastrophically apathetic at the least and stupid at best and sympathetic towards the ideals of 8chan board members if not covertly bigoted at worst.
So, knowing these, if you still think or feel that people here are "Overreacting" you can kindly get the fucked.

After reading (most) of the ama thread it is even hard to believe you didn't know where you were going. The amount of bad decision making and stupidity involved here is breath taking.
My first visit to 8chan btw. I'm not even shocked or "triggered" as they might say. Some of them certainly think they are trolls or that they are funny because they are able to "trigger" the "left" by posting lolis in suggestive positions or racist pics. No, you are just childish at best, an asshole at worst and there are real pedophiles and racists hiding among you. They are using you and "free speech" as a shield to communicate with each other and to promote their agendas. It's so obvious how rotten that place is... I don't get it. I really don't. If you think posting on there is funny, I hope you manage to wake up at some point of your live and realize that you are being used like a sheep.

C. A cursory google search, something that takes, not even 30 seconds. Shows that the website is blacklisted from google. A look at the wikipedia page. Which specifically notes the gamergate affiliation in the second paragraph on the page
and starts the Controversies tab with the child porn association
So I have two questions:
So at what point is your metric for grown ass men being aware of what website they associated with if this all happened because they were unaware of the crowd they were associating with?
What have they done to earn the benefit of the doubt?
