as well as blatant homophobia
and a "promise" to not "appeal to the SocJust crowd"
C. A cursory google search, something that takes, not even 30 seconds. Shows that the website is blacklisted from google. A look at the wikipedia page. Which specifically notes the gamergate affiliation in the second paragraph on the page
and starts the Controversies tab with the child porn association
So I have two questions:
So at what point is your metric for grown ass men being aware of what website they associated with if this all happened because they were unaware of the crowd they were associating with?
What have they done to earn the benefit of the doubt?

How does these boards work regarding ID? The three people (so far) are sharing the same ID (159bc1), but the board is anonymous (I assume), so it could be one person doing different names? And that person for sure works with THQ PR, since THQ twitter promoted it. Trying to make sens of this baffling decision.

As a few people on Twitter have pointed out, it seems very unlikely that the Mark who runs that board is actually Mark Kern, for a lot of reasons. Kern doesn't seem to know what's going on and a handful of regulars have spoken up and said that Mark from the board is a different guy.

One could argue he intentionally picked such a setting due to his personal preference for nationalistic, non-diverse pro/all white periods of time and his desire to appeal to other like minded individuals with such a setting. In that case yes it would be toxic. Given his rhetoric during the development of the game it's hard to give him the benefit of the doubt.
