THQ Nordic teases two game announcements at E3 [READ STAFF POST]

THQ Nordic have sent an e-mail to press about their plans for E3, which includes hints at two unannounced projects that will be revealed at the conference.
I'm not sure if this e-mail only covers the projects of THQ Nordic GmbH subsidiary in Austria or if it includes Deep Silver and Coffee Stain as well.

Unannounced Game #1: It's the long-awaited return of a galactically beloved game/franchise. It is a remake.

Unannounced Game #2: It's a new vision of a beloved game/franchise.

I would say that it's pretty tainted that the fact we probably know it's a new Destroy all Humans and maybe a multiplayer Darksiders is because of fucking 8chan...

But the whole company is tainted. Fucking hell.

It's really a shame that they fucked everything up with that 8chan idiocy, especially since they own both the Saints Row and Kingdoms of Amalur franchises.

Did the morons responsible ever get fired, so maybe I could buy a game from THQ in good conscience?

Definitely in for a new Saints Row game - they've been teasing on Twitter to "stay tuned" to the Saints Row YouTube channel so I'm very hopeful.

I was just going to ask whether they took any action against the folks who orchestrated/participated in that debacle; guess I have my answer.

Whatever they are, they're probably coming to Switch. I mean, they're even bringing Biomutant, a pretty demanding game.

I think... Timesplitters HD collection and Saints Row V.

Here's a helpful summary post of all the events for the uninitiated.

These games are being published by THQ Nordic. For those who may not be aware or who may have forgotten, THQ Nordic had a marketing effort where it intended to gain attention using a website that is known primarily for its support of child pornography, as well as for support of Neo-Nazism, doxxing, and other extremely damaging behaviours.

THQ Nordic's provided no response to this fiasco except for an apology claiming they did not do enough research. As the website is unlisted by Google, they had spoken to the board owner about removing "nasty stuff", and content was viewable both before and during the campaign, this claim is beyond belief. The individuals responsible are known not to be rogue PR interns, but go up to THQ Nordic's board. THQ Nordic has not been dealt with the individuals responsible.

Consider that by supporting these games, you are supporting a publisher that is complicit with child pornography.

I remember the days when I was excited that all these old IPs were being bought up and rereleased or given new entries. And then THQ Nordic had an event.
