Protesters targeted the Washington, D.C. home of Fox News host Tucker Carlson on Wednesday night, ringing the door bell and chanting "racist scum bag, leave town!"

An anti-fascist group called Smash Racism DC announced the protest in a video posted late on Wednesday: "BREAKING. Activists ring doorbell, hold protest at the Washington DC area home of @TuckerCarlson, racist, sexist, bigoted FOX News personality. So far no one has opened the door."

"Tucker Carlson, we will fight!" the protesters chanted. "We know where you sleep at night!"

The Hollywood Reporter has reached out to both Fox News public relations and the activist group for comment.

The group accosted Texas Sen. Ted Cruz at a restaurant last month for his support for then-Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, chanting "we believe survivors!" until he left the establishment.

This is.... a fucking stupid idea. Baaaad look. Tucker Carlson is a trump propagandist. What sort of fallout do they think will logically follow this? "ya know, those antifa folks really have a point. And I really want to be able to sleep at night, so i'll just stop".

Trump and the rest of fox news are going to use this as ammunition to further paint all liberals as a violent mob that come after them at night. Great job.
