Golf may be played with partners and friends, but ultimately it's a solo game. I think for these people being invited and play with him, they get a free afternoon of smacking the ball around.

The Presidential Medal of Freedom is basically the American equivalent of making someone a member of the Order of the British Empire or other orders of merit in various countries. It recognizes achievement and contributions made across a broad spectrum of human endeavors, including sports.

It concerns me because there are better ways to make your point than to shit on members of the forum. If you have an issue with a poster, quote them to their face so they can have a chance to respond instead of just making shitty derogatory generalizations. When just about every celebrity from A list to D list has shit on you, it has to be refreshing to see a celebrity (that he knows in real life too!) that hasn't criticized him or told him to eat shit. I'd wanna get on his good side too.

Dude I am not shitting on Tiger at all. Can you please show me where I did that? What he did was bonkers, no two ways about it. Absolutely amazing. When it happened I was in disbelief, it's incredible. The only thing I called out is some dude coming in here and passive aggressively trying to shit on everyone because they're talking about Tiger and Trump in a... Tiger and Trump thread.
The fact is it's a really important thing that effects a lot. I understand getting tired of it, I get tired of talking about politics too. But, at any given moment it's going to be at the forefront of the minds of lots of people, and they are going to want to talk about it, and it's entirely understandable. The answer isn't to police them and how they feel, or shut that discussion down, it's much easier for each individual if they do not want to get involved in it to just not get involved in it, which is easy to do by just not talking about it, not quoting it, engaging with post that are not talking about it, and what have you.

It's a matter of perspective really. For some people, maybe a lot of people, the people you spend time with reflect your values. I don't think it's entirely unfair for someone to say Tiger golfing with Trump is problematic, the same way people said Rodman cozying up to Kim Jong Un is not good, or if someone were to go see a movie with Bolsonaro. Ultimately, it is hard for a lot of people to get past someone being able to have a fun time with a racist who puts kids in concentration camps, and I don't see how that is at all an unfair judgement.
