I don't know how much merit there is to this, but local code execution is a vector for nefarious means. This was posted in a Titanfall 2 Discord.

There are reports of the game crashing for connected clients right now on Titanfall2 Subreddit.

I still play the MP on occasion but looks like I can't even do that for the foreseeable future.

Wait this was a thing? I remember the TF2 servers were hacked a bit ago but the person responsible posted here and snitched on themselves? Lol.

I can't say if this is legit, but if people are playing Titanfall 2 and the game is crashing, there's something going on. Before Titanfall 1 got completely killed, there was a hacker doing a script that crashed everyone's game in the lobby that the hacker was in.

I don't know how credible this DirectXeon guy is and I've seen zero proof of computers being compromised so this feels fishy to me? Obviously I'm not gonna try it and find out, but idk. Games freezing and crashing doesn't necessarily mean a dude has access to your kernel.

I would still avoid playing the game until there's proof one way or the other but something about this rubs me the wrong way especially since there's already been some shady shit in the titanfall community

Yeah. Last I heard the Titanfall community completely believed one guy who ended up being the hacker they were condemning.
