I'm calling bullshit. The crash happened at 9:45 am. TMZ news went up before 11:30am. So you mean to tell me they were on the phone with "his people" less than 45 min after the accident happened? Yeah right. The "tip" from Law enforcement = bought the info from a snake involved. All of them are all scum.
Vanessa is an absolute rock and I can't even begin to imagine the strength she's exhibiting to get her family through this nightmare.

My girls and I want to thank the millions of people who've shown support and love during this horrific time. Thank you for all the prayers. We definitely need them. We are completely devastated by the sudden loss of my adoring husband, Kobe — the amazing father of our children; and my beautiful, sweet Gianna — a loving, thoughtful, and wonderful daughter, and amazing sister to Natalia, Bianka, and Capri.
We are also devastated for the families who lost their loved ones on Sunday, and we share in their grief intimately.
There aren't enough words to describe our pain right now. I take comfort in knowing that Kobe and Gigi both knew that they were so deeply loved. We were so incredibly blessed to have them in our lives. I wish they were here with us forever. They were our beautiful blessings taken from us too soon.
I'm not sure what our lives hold beyond today, and it's impossible to imagine life without them. But we wake up each day, trying to keep pushing because Kobe, and our baby girl, Gigi, are shining on us to light the way. Our love for them is endless — and that's to say, immeasurable. I just wish I could hug them, kiss them and bless them. Have them here with us, forever.
Thank you for sharing your joy, your grief and your support with us. We ask that you grant us the respect and privacy we will need to navigate this new reality.
To honor our Team Mamba family, the Mamba Sports Foundation has set up the MambaOnThree Fund to help support the other families affected by this tragedy. To donate, please go to MambaOnThree.org.
To further Kobe and Gianna's legacy in youth sports, please visit MambaSportsFoundation.org.
Thank you so much for lifting us up in your prayers, and for loving Kobe, Gigi, Natalia, Bianka, Capri and me.

Just thought I would inject some levity into this thread. I'm still super bummed but this will never not make me laugh, what was he thinking 😄
He admits right in the interview that they didn't check with the rest of the victims' families before releasing the news. So maybe Vanessa and the kids knew but there were a lot of other families affected. TMZ can still fuck right off for this one.
Maybe it's just me but I'll take Levin's word over some county sheriff any day. Rep is currency in LA and if everyone in LA actually hated TMZ for being scummy about this they'd be way more fucked than if they had just sat on the story.I'm calling bullshit. Well plenty of human scumbags posting garbage takes over this tragedy.
This dude is gonna get his ass beat. People really need to stop thinking they can say whatever they want with no repercussions. Not gonna feel sorry for him when he starts crying about the death threats and deletes his twitter.
My man rocking the Bayek look before it was popular.

Looking around the hill that they hit, where they hit it is hard to imagine if even the hill played the biggest part, near 180 mph and being that close to the ground regardless of the hill just doesn't seem right. Maybe in person it looks much higher and maybe he could have thought he was clear of any hills but obviously we have no idea. The speed is the part that makes no sense to me, why 180 mph when you can't see
most of the hills that they would come across are all about the same size, so regardless of this one they would have hit another one somewhere at these heights so I do not think it was the hill or mountain that is at fault imo
the only place of this entire area that is safe to fly at these heights seem to be the immidiate city area or town which would almost be it's own trench, again you couldn't fly across it and past it at the height they crashed at.
Looks like he should have just went for an emergency landing straight down and slowly before that on the highway or open area as soon as he felt the cloud cover was becoming a serious issue. According to the videos of the sky that were first shown. I'm not a pilot but it would seem emergency landings in a helicopter would be the one you want when compared to planes. Before ascending and heading left up into the mountains they were following a highway that goes through a pass.
Some guy did a Google earth showing their route according to radar. My guess is at some point while navigating over the highway the pilot didnt feel comfortable trying to stay in between mountains with that visibility. His reaction was to gain altitude and get over the clouds to where he could see or at least use ATC for flight following the rest of the way.
At some point in the ascension he either became disoriented and put the heli in a position where it could not generate lift thus the rapid descension OR the helicopter itself had a mechanical issue that caused it. I'm fully expecting a pilot error to be the result of the investigation.
All of this was avoidable and it sucks.
So yeah, the outcome we all predicted happened. LOL@ him trying to backtrack. People really need to know when to shut the fuck up.

I just watched a aviation lawyer, explain that it is very risky to fly a helicopter through dense fog. The pilot is forced to only use the instruments in front of him. Although the pilot was trained to fly in a situation similar, the terrain below present more complications.

Of course it's nice, but I got a little bit bothered by seeing so many comments about "Thank you for mentioning the others" and "People not as well known have perished" and stuff like that. (on instagram posts, not here)Very nice that even within her own's family's tragedy she's thinking about the other people who lost their lives families.
