I think they're going to wait on the league to make a determination.
If he gets cut at some point, expect news from the league soon after.
Might depend on his contract. Wonder if Pats would still be on the hook for some money if they cut him IF the NFL weighs in.
So it looks like Nike ended the deal because AB wasn't meeting contractual obligations like showing up for promotional events, and the decision to cut ties with him came well before the civil suit was made public. Other endorsement deals he has/had: Campbell's Soup, Rite-Aid, Pepsi, Pizza Hut, and ATT/Directv. His deals with Pepsi, Pizza Hut and Campbells all ended earlier this year. In her civil suit filing, Britney Taylor says part of her job was to ensure he showed up to events to meet his endorsement requirements, but even with help he failed miserably at doing so.
This falls in line with the SI article with how he doesn't really give a shit about all those obligations.

This is someone who likely didn't do much in high school and college because he focused on football. Upon getting to the NFL he's an instant millionaire.
It's no secret why a lot of star athletes (or young celebrities) have maturity issues.

Welp, Pats did the right thing. The surprising thing is AB seems to be amicable with the split with the tone of his tweet.
They paid a guy a game check and in return he scored a TD. Only one that got played was AB. Played himself out of 30 million in Oakland and then another 15 million in New England.
