My system:

i7 4790k
1080 Ti
16GB RAM
Win 10

Game-settings:

- 1620p
- maxed out, except:
shadows: high
objects and streaming: 7/10
no CA, no motion blur

I ran the benchmark several times (3x DX11, 3x DX12), with driver-versions 419.17 and 419.35.
There were no performance-differences between driver-versions except for an odd one-second-freeze in DX12 with 419.35 in a certain scene.

Overall, DX12 runs smoother, stuttering feels "less stuttery" and the lowest framerate was 61FPS (DX11: 53FPS).
In taxing scenes like the shootout, I got a FPS-boost of 5-10 frames in DX12.
But ingame, DX12 seems to be kind of broken for me because the game crashed several times and the ingame menu stutters a lot.

Have you tried disabling the Uplay overlay when using DX12? That's supposedly helping to solve crashes based on users' reports.

I won't be able to play until Thursday afternoon, due to work (Ultimate edition). However, i would like a heads-up from anyone that could help.

I have a 2080, i7-9700k and 32gb RAM. My monitor is capped at 60 refresh rate. I was able to just set it at 1440p with max settings and get locked 60fps in the beta. I'm wondering if I should just stick with that or try and lower some settings at 4k to achieve a locked 60? Anyone have any suggestions? Obviously if I lower too much, it would just look better at 1440p. I was thinking maybe Resolution Scale would do the trick?

Games run really well on my laptop:

i7 8750H
RTX 2070
16 GB RAM
Resolution: 2560x1440p
Setting: Default GeForce Experience setting
- 85% resolution rendered.

Avg 77 fps - 6907 Benchmark score

Going to the Ubisoft Club Challenges menu TANKS my frame rate the same as overlay notifications did before I turned them off. Something about accessing non-Division 2 servers is busted or something

Edit: aaaaand there's my first crash. I'm using DX12

What driver is everyone using? 419.35 is the newest but that's the one I have on my dektop and it always crashes. My laptop has 419.17 and it's fine. Maybe it's a coincidence.
Edit: Ok, changed driver to 419.17 and still crashes. Well no idea then.

I've got the same specs but at 1080p 120 hz refresh rate. What driver are you using? Planning on getting the game this week and am excited to see those fps numbers.

Game keeps launching in windowed mode... is there any way to force it to launch in fullscreen?

Asked this a few times with no response in discord/the OT. Hoping someone knows something....

EDIT: figured it out if anyone else needs solution:

My documents -> My games -> The Division 2 -> state.cfg - open in notepad, change "fullscreen=false" to "fullscreen=true" - save - fixed!

Yeh, it will.

i7 4790k 4.0Ghz
RTX 2080

1440p Gsync

Ran benchmarks with default game settings which had everything high or ultra.
DX11 Score 7282, AVG 83fps - some frame stuttering and texture pop in.
DX12 Score 7889 AVG 88fps - smoother framerate and I didn't notice the texture pop in.

Only got to the base of operations so far, but the game looks and runs great.

Very curious how this will run on a Ryzen 5 2400g with 16ghz RAM @3200mhz. I mainly play games at 720p or 900p so haven't really run into anything I can't play comfortably with a few graphical tweaks. I'll be getting it free since I took advantage of the recent promotion, so I'm not really out anything if it runs like crap though (plus I plan on getting a dedicated gpu by the end of the year).

In-game benchmark results

Fully maxed, 1440, Resolution scaling 85%
WZ5Sg0.jpg

Same as above but resolution scaling at 100%
WZ5lc3.jpg

A +10fps increase, and 85% is barely noticeable to me so I think I'll stick with that. Pretty pleased with the performance overall.

How's it running for people with mid/low-end PC's.

I was getting around 70-80 in the beta but with a bunch of stuttering on DX12.

Can someone please answer whether they kept the graphical setting to disable the fake lighting? It was an absolute visual gamechanger in the first one.

There's no option but, in my opinion, the default lighting is somewhere in between the default Div 1 and the neutral lighting option, and closer to neutral. Night time is pretty dark in Div 2.

Getting annoying stutters that were not a thing during the open beta. Going to try DX11 to see if anything changes. Game looks amazing though, coming from playing the original game last week, this is a definitive improvement in all areas. HDR also looks awesome on PC.

how well does it scale can you hit over 100fps with medium settings on a 2080 at 1440p for example or is it too cpu intensive?

Try Ultra with 85% scaling. The reconstruction is incredible. I didn't know the difference at 1440p

Dell 27" 1440p

DX 12 is once again completely fucking broken and crashes every few minutes for me, just like ion the beta. I've tried closing RivaTuner, updated drivers, etc. and nothing works. Such a bummer since the lighting looks drastically better & the performance is better for me. Anyone have a fix yet?

Really hope a driver fixes these hitches. It's like 2-3 times a session, but it just hangs for a solid second or two. Other than that it runs incredible, but when it happens it just feels like shit

Have you been monitoring your resources when it happens? Could be hitting the limit on your RAM or something.

When I try to run with an unlocked framerate on my i5 6600k I get a serious bottleneck (unsurprisingly). Limiting the frames to 60 keeps everything stable at least.
