I was gonna say that maybe Lupin Part 5 was the "trouble with legal issues" show, but I don't think it was officially announced when DeMarco mentioned it.

Wait the next Lupin show is in France?

French tourism board must have heard that the character based on a famous French character dunked on them in the episode that took place there and sent a check. I wonder if they'll go back to Italy and make them look like clowns.

Is getting kidnapped a thing? If so then yes.

Or we could make Trunks the one who always gets kidnapped and forgets he has super powers. That would be fun.

Bra would also be a hulked up monster and she can come along too.

How does one not play fighting games other than SmashBros? Is there something about the genre that makes one just disinterested? Play Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm, so good Ive bought multiple of them twice....or BlazBlue, or Persona Arena.

Yuno is boring...stop, his flaw is he's friends with Asta....stop. Okay I did chuckle at you all. Cant wait to hear it as the anime goes on. But on another note, surely theres nothing wrong with having no flaw at this point. It makes him unique and refreshing.

RIDE got a mention!!!!!! Thank you, best character continues to be remembered. I still think the writer really loved Ride's character a lot in this anime.

Oh wow you all keep mentioning all my characters (Pokkle in hxh part).

"Are we going to encounter more stands with crazy unknown powers from now on? We'll have to be ready for anything."
Polnareff clearly was not paying attention to Joseph when he said this shit.

Polnareff is not a clever man
Nope. I'm watching I think ep 8 and trying to figure out why he didn't bleed to death after his ankle got sliced off. So Avdol receives a phone call about Polnareff getting ambushed, and then just talks to Joseph about it with Joseph sipping on some tea in the process...this part is fucking weird.

Maybe the new Lupin series would replace Gundam or something and be a near-simuldub thing.

That would be the 'biggest' type of surprise, but fairly feasible. Lupin kinda straddles that line between broader appeal to have a simuldub on foreign network (as it had in the past) and it's super duper popular that a bigger platform would pick it up immediately.

So in Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards, Kirby can turn into a fridge and throw food at his enemies.

Guys, Kirby is the most horrifying creature ever imagined by man.

Question is if they have the resources to pull it off?

Funimation is the only studio that really does it, because they got so many recording booths in house to make it work. I'm not sure which ADR studio handled Lupin Part 4.

It saddens me they never made another game that had 64's gimmick of mix & matching. Star Allies KIND OF has it, it seems, but doesn't seem to be on the same level. Maybe it is & I haven't seen most of it yet.

I just feel bummed that the animal friends from Dream Land 3 & ability mixing from 64 never returned in future games.

Kirby 64's problem is that in order to go all out with the power combining, there were only 7 basic powers. A lot of the other games have over 20. Granted, there were tons of combinations, but it's easy to see why they stick with the fan favorites plus a few new ones every game.

Xenoblade 2 is a really fun game. It's also right along that border of being too anime but it's been walking the line straight and true so far. Other games along this razor's edge of madness include Tokyo Mirage Sessions, a game I cannot recommend enough and the Danganronpa series, which unfortunately falls off of this line into the deep abyss right around the end of the second game.

Fair enough. 64 had a total of 49 different abilities overall which lead to a fun amount of experimenting, but usually resulted in "heh, that was fun for a few minutes, but I want something better." I just enjoy when they shake up the copy ability mechanic, like in Planet Robobot & having the giant robots have copy abilities as well.

EDIT: Oh shit, I just got a second Toonami box!! Why?! What do I do with with it?! oh shit, will I get charged again I don't want to go into overdraft right now I'm seriously broke!!
The hell? Well, I haven't been charged myself. Though, I suppose it'll be a safe time to cancel the subscription before the first of February if you're not interested in the Robot Chicken box...which I don't think they advertised.

I love it despite knowing how slow it can make fights. It never bored me, the sign of a good battle system.
I'm being a little snarky but it probably doesn't help that I played Baten Kaitos Origins right beforehand, in which creating long attack chains is REALLY COOL and rewarding.

Why am I not surprised that my stupid ex roommate gets arrested and leaves the apartment before he paid the fucking gas bill. Me and the sane roommate should just split it and get our shares out of the other crazy one I guess. Shit's fucking stupid.
At least gas is pretty cheap. It could've been all utilities.

And it's not off topic, least not more so than anything else we talk about on weekdays : )

the session system in tms#fe is bad
It's a cool idea, but if it gets a Switch port, I do hope there's a speed up or even a flat-out skip button. I didn't mind it for the most part, but once you got every single party member, yeah, it started to make battles feel longer.

Also the randomness of the special & duo attacks appearing was annoying since they never appeared when you wanted them to for boss battles or tougher enemies.

Really, the game just needs some QoL improvements, like let me go to Tiki at dungeon entrances to make new weapons instead of leaving & dealing with multiple loading screens.

I think I'm getting close to finishing Yakuza Kiwami. Glad that this game confirms that I do enjoy the series & that I wish I got into it earlier.

Considering I've got the LE for 6 pre-ordered, I'm debating if I should try to play through 4 & 5 via PS+ or if I should hold off until 6 as I finished 0 a few weeks ago (got it Black Friday, finished just before Christmas) & I don't know if I'll burn myself out on the series by playing so many games in a short period of time. Really don't have any games I'm getting until March (well maybe that Secret of Mana remake for PS4 since my friend said he'd split the cost with me for that physical version at GameStop), but I also have some backlog stuff I could work on (Seda's replaying of Valkyria Chronicles reminds me I need to get back to that, I think I stopped a mission or two after that exhausting battle with the giant-ass tank).

I try to not play too many games of a certain genre or series to ensure I don't experience burnout or whatever. & for the most part, I'm not doing the 100% completion list (I really don't feel like doing some of those casino minigames & lol i can't play shogi or mahjong) for these games. Anyone else have this issue, being it games or tv shows?

and even though they there's a assassin stand user and he attacked Polnareff and he's missing from the meeting for a while they made to protect each other

they never once thought "hey maybe we should check up on Polnareff"

though time could have been weird
