I'm hoping it's gas and electric combined, but the damn bill is $250. I think I also have to put this bill in my name as well because the other sane one doesn't want to put her name back on because the two idiot roommates never paid her their share. Only other solution is to get the other idiot to put her name on it so it's guaranteed to come out of her bank account in some form and me and the other sane one just give her our shares, which we are guaranteed to do since we are not stupid.

Considering I've got the LE for 6 pre-ordered, I'm debating if I should try to play through 4 & 5 via PS+ or if I should hold off until 6 as I finished 0 a few weeks ago (got it Black Friday, finished just before Christmas) & I don't know if I'll burn myself out on the series by playing so many games in a short period of time. Really don't have any games I'm getting until March (well maybe that Secret of Mana remake for PS4 since my friend said he'd split the cost with me for that physical version at GameStop), but I also have some backlog stuff I could work on (Seda's replaying of Valkyria Chronicles reminds me I need to get back to that, I think I stopped a mission or two after that exhausting battle with the giant-ass tank).

I try to not play too many games of a certain genre or series to ensure I don't experience burnout or whatever. & for the most part, I'm not doing the 100% completion list (I really don't feel like doing some of those casino minigames & lol i can't play shogi or mahjong) for these games. Anyone else have this issue, being it games or tv shows?

Playing Kiwami was a mistake for me after playing 0. It's blatently obvious that 0 was a modern game, while Kiwami was a PS2 game with a modern coat of paint and gameplay engine. The lack of a useable quest log/map basically has me stuck in the game right now, with it's hint being "I need to feed this dog", but I have no recolection as to where the dog actually is, and the map won't tell me. Fighting Shimano in chapter 3 is significantly harder than any boss encounter was in Yakuza 0- the difficulty curve is all over the place in this one.

I'm thinking I'm just done with the game, and will play 6 when it hits

man Monster Hunter world looks good, makes me jealous of PS4 and XBOX owners that they don't have to wait til fall to play it

Im gonna wait to play TMS on PC. I played it, but couldnt handle the load times it had. Game wasnt good enough like Lost Odyssey was for me to forgive that sin.

Emulation is awesome for 3d games.

I'd also probably get it for the switch if it became cheap. i prefer Persona style games on handheld

Oh yeah, there were times where the difficulty would just suddenly jump with how many enemies you had to fight at once, especially when they'd throw like 5 enemies at you along with a boss. Plus it's only barely half the length of 0.

Another fear is that going from the PS4 to PS3 versions is gonna feel like a stepdown.

....and of course a PSN flash sale happens as I talk about what game to play next.

Zenigata is almost too competent in Part 4. He should never be walked all over but in this one he always knows exactly where Lupin is and what he is up to. He's like an omniscient Elder Scrolls guard.

I wouldn't mind seeing more Lupin, but I hope it's better. I liked it on the block, but at the same time, I can't say I ever found it to be anything other than middling besides a few standout episodes.

I could watch a new Lupin show at this quality on the block forever. I'm literally always up for this premise and the animation just hits me in the right way (same thing would happen if Star Blazers showed up, another timeless animation style)

Let me rephrase. I hope the stand alone stuff is more interesting & more among the lines of the episodes that were considered the better ones.

Also I was VERY close to grabbing a copy of Dragon Ball Fusions at my Target for $5, but decided against it....though I guess if anyone really wants me to nab it for them & mail it, I could go back tomorrow & check.

Fusions is pretty damn dope. One of the very best DB games and the only people I wouldn't recommend it for are those who literally cannot stand playing a 3DS game anymore.

today at work i dont have access to the lab that i am supposed to be working at and getting the proper authorization is way tougher than it needs to be

also the impending government shutdown could potentially kill my position, cool.

It has to finish Fishman Island first.
Just found out the next set is in March. Not sure why there was a five month gap between sets but at least it's coming. Still not the end of the arc though.
We really need a One Piece Kai. The anime did FI dirty, especially when they added a scene of humans attacking a young Hody, completely undercutting the arc's theme of built-in racism and the roots of it.

Hunter x Hunter definitely starts to get going next episode, but I think it's two or three episodes after that when the first real "oh crap" moment happens.

Now that it's shut down, I hope it doesn't affect you too bad : /
I work for the government too but luckily I work off grant funds which aren't running out any time soon. But I know people personally that are gonna be screwed over.

I'm not technically a government employee, the easiest way to describe it is probably that the government is the biggest customer of national lab (which is run by a private business, as far as I understand it), sooooooooooooooooo yeah
