I'm sure there is a lot more going on as well, but at the very least making it easier and faster to getting crunchy shows on toonami should have been the main focus :P
it's been a few months so we should have seen some fruit from that by now.
We're still waiting on sao's replacement to be announced which has to be any day at this point, even if it's just a block reduction.

You would think with how popular the manga is that they could have gotten as many episodes as they wanted for a tokyo ghoul anime.

The only thing I know about the Tokyo Ghoul manga is that is had an explicit sex scene that took up a whole chapter and it made certain shippers mad.

DeMarco did say they didn't have anything for toonami at it this year but there should be something next year

The entire reason I held off from watching was due to waiting for a dub premiere on Toonami, given how solid the season 1 dub was.

I guess at the very least that means Toonami has slightly longer term plans haha
I'd imagine tomorrow or Friday are the last days we could reasonably expect a show to replace SAO instead of there being a rerun or block contraction.
