Today at their SDCC panel it seems Netflix's Toys That Made Us confirmed the episodes for the upcoming third season of the show:

- Wrestling
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
- Power Rangers
- My Little Pony

After some banter and questions about how they produced the episode came the main event: the announcement of the next four episode subject matters. In order as they appeared: Power Rangers (after swearing they would never do one during the panel), My Little Pony, Wrestling (old LJN figures were shown, hopefully it covers so much more), and the big one: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Pretty awesome lineup this time!

Wrestling and Power Rangers will be good, well they all will probably be good really. Enjoyed the episodes so far, wonder how long the wait will be.

Good picks again, looking forward to it! Hope they are able to keep going... still so many iconic toy lines that need to be covered.

Glad to see more. It's a very entertaining series and even has some touching moments like the Transformers episode.

In for Wrestling and TMNT. Those LJN toys were the best. I hope it's entirely focused on the toys from my childhood...of course.

Oh man, I lived for the Power Rangers. I had like everything when it first came out.

I need that episode now.

Prob not very. They mostly go over the historic origin and popularity, and usually only lightly touch on the new stuff. FiM will definately be there, due to how significant it's been.
I get the feeling they will focus on the pre FiM stuff. I'm not too familiar with the toy line, but it always felt like FiM is the first time people cared about the show itself rather than the toys. No idea how well the FiM toys sell.

Cool lineup though I feel the Wrestling episode might be a little alien to most non-American audiences. Also I had no idea TTMUs would have more episodes, this is awesome!

I remember my triple threat match with Bret Hart, Donatello, and Red Ranger for the world title. Bret winning with the sharpshooter of course.

I really didn't like season 2. The condescending narration started to bug me 10 minutes into the Lego episode.

Fuck yeah, it's a very well made show overall.

Maybe some Zoids or Fisher-Price (specifically Little People) in the future?

Would love a Hot Wheels(or maybe die cast cars in general) episode, they were my favorite toys as a kid and still today. Would've been perfect to have an episode this year since it's the 50th anniversary of the HW brand.

For real tho. I used to pretty much go hot wheels and legos when I was a kid. Not having an episode for hot wheels this late in the game is pretty glaring omission. Probably should have done it last season instead of boring ass star trek toys.

Where is my Jurassic Park episode!?

Might be hard to do now after Kenner/Hasbro lost the license to Mattel. I would KILL to learn the story behind that,

FiM toys seem to do pretty well; certainly much better than the previous generations. It was enough to spinoff the Equestria Girls line, for one thing, which itself appears to be doing well.

Nice to see MLP being covered, but it could be difficult with the show's format. It typically relies on being able to look at rises and falls of the toyline, but My Little Pony's biggest rise only happened recently. I feel like the usual format would result in them covering all the early stuff, and then going, "Hasbro was looking for My Little Pony to be a big success... and then it was! The End."

To be honest GI Joe, Star Wars, He-Man, Barbie, Lego, Transformers and Turtles were the biggies for me. I really liked how they went the extra effort and interviewed Takara fellows for TF.

So many toys were huge for a small while before moving on. Like Cabbage Patch Dolls and Teddy Ruxpin would be rad but they had such a short lifespan is there enough material? I mean the story of Worlds of Wonder was pretty interesting to rise so quickly yet crash just as fast.

Personal wishlist for me would be Robotech, Zoids, Centurions, Inhumanoids, Wheeled Warriors, Mask and Visionaries. But all of them were quickly burned out fads lasting only a year or two.

I think there's still a lot of material. Looking it up on Wiki, and I didn't even know that in the 90s and esrly 00s, there were toy waves to push it further. There was also a pre-MLP line in the early 80s. Tjere's definately enough material to cover the original, mid-attempts, the new, and the new fandom itself.

I would love to see an episode about Garbage Pail Kids. I bet the history around those cards and product line is amazing.
