You'd think that a biopic about a failed presidency would be a full-on drama. Think "JFK" or "All the president's men". But no, whatever adaptation they do of this has got to be a comedy or a dark comedy.

There was a moment maybe half way in where the screen cuts to an image of President Donald Trump next to an image of the White House, like news programs often do to show who's talking and from where, and with that image and the sound of him freaking the fuck out, ranting in incomplete, nonsensical sentences and... my brain just broke. Something in me couldn't combine what I was seeing and hearing with reality. That man is the president of the United States. I just can't.
A movie? C'mon now. A trilogy on this trainwreck would end with Comey getting fired.

In the politics-as-sports reality, some plays are gonna be like the ball comes loose, hits 14 different people, conks the ref in the head, and then is snagged by a dog that ran onto the field and I don't blame the guy in the bar who asks, "wait, so who has possession now?"
