Trump claims he will cure both Cancer and AIDS (I wish I was kidding)

I think what I love the most is that he said he'd cure cancer, eradicate AIDS, but not that we'd go to Mars, just that we'd make some progress on that front. As though promising to put a man on Mars would be too far, and he wanted to be a little more reasonable.
Why? His internal polling says he's beating him in literally all 17 swing states. That's an historic lead. Sure, you had that FAKE NEWS out there, but the reality was apparently different, according to Trump. All 17, amazing.
The recent EREP poll (Eric Trump's Rear End Poll) had him leading in Mexico, North Korea, and Japan also.
Wasn't Trump once declared the healthiest man alive by his doctor? They probably just need to take a sample of his blood and make a cure/vaccine for everything from it. The astronauts treated with it won't need oxygen and will be stable geniusses who can do the trip without any psychological problems.

It's worrying because Trump has now fully switched into election mode, which is the only part of the job that he actually enjoys. He will say anything, no matter how absurd, and people will eat it up. He's going to be really hard to beat, especially if we put another crazy old man up against him.

Can't really blame him/the GOP when the media will then go "oh, ok, next question". Why wouldn't they lie, they have been allowed to literally co-opt a term to describe their lies and that of their propaganda network Fox News and apply it to actual, factual news reports (yes, "fake news") *and* brand reporters as "enemies of the people" and got as much pushback as a limp noodle. And the lies will even be taken at face value and discussed by the media because clearly everything has "both sides" like any good sportin event and you can't just call one side false, can you. Yes, that's how reality works, surely.
