The modern GOP:
the norms misser @cd_hooks

NRCC @NRCC
The emotional socialist Democrats have become so blinded by their hatred of @realDonaldTrump that they have lost all ability to effectively govern https://www.nrcc.org/2019/07/16/emotional-democrats-have-lost-their-minds/ …

They're also spamming the press with emails and gleefully retweeting about it:
Disagree a bit. Trump is a person, an awful person, but still a person.
Wait, 75% of them didn't vote? Well, those people shouldn't have their seats. Dem or Rep.
Technically it is. I have always hated the term "PoC" and instead chose to say "non-white". However the implication of the term "PoC" is tied to the history of usage of language by those in power to denote without them when the latter were owned as slaves or seen as people beneath them to be conquered.
It's incredible how scummy and hateful the Republican Party is. There is no floor to how shitty they are, there is no depth they won't sink to to prove how much they hate everyone.
That was from earlier in the vote.
That's not the final vote.Wait, 75% of them didn't vote? Well, those people shouldn't have their seats. Dem or Rep.
atleast this shit is putting it right out in the open. 2020 ads are gonna be lit
That's not the final vote.
Besides, it's not like this resolution matters really in any way. Regardless of his chances of removal, the house Dems need to do their job and start Impeachment hearings based on his crazy ass tweets alone.
All the tweets and resolutions are a waste of time and it's getting old.
I would have thought non-white would seem more offensive, implies white is the default and every other race needs to be described in relation to it.
"This is her fault, Omar should not have been willingly trying to start disputes against her superiors, doesnt she know this is going to hurt her chances of being relevant?"
Oh my. I didn't realize we had a member of the press on this forum.
"You know, they talk about people of color. I'm a person of color. I'm white. I'm an Anglo Saxon. People say things all the time, but I don't get offended," Pennsylvania GOP Rep. Mike Kelly told VICE News before the blowup over Pelosi's comments. "'With a name like Mike Kelly you can't be from any place else but Ireland.'"
This timeline man.
This was a juicy takeaway quote:
How do those people feel about huge tax breaks and government handouts for corporations that benefit the stockholders more than the people doing the actual work?

I was born and raised in his district (though he's part of the 2010 crowd).
At least my parents hate him.
