Hilarious. No explanation of how they're going to get legal access to the land at the border without being able to use eminent domain. So obviously going to spread that money around to "consultants" until it's all gone. Could not happen to a more deserving group of shit heads.

Wether it be federally built or privately constructed, does it matter who actually builds the wall to those that donated? I mean, I doubt those that have donated to this guy care who builds the wall, they just want it built by any legal means. Don't see, in that regard, how it's a scam. It's only a scam if it doesn't get built by them at this point.

Still, whole thing is foolish.

Damn, wish I had thought of this. A bullshit "patriotic" paragraph or two and a list of Fox news contributors and I walk away with millions.

Even if only of a quarter of the people who pledged confirm that's still 5 million dollars that they consented into his pocket.

So, this is the pivot y'all were expecting. Homie is gonna take money for himself and pay a bunch of friends and vultures and that money is gonna go poof, if you were to ask me.

That's how it works in all countries. In the US, in China, money that's given out to contractors almost always is used to enrich a few select people. Bid is $200 million? Two or three million will vanish (not literally, it will be justified somehow). For something of this size, I fully expect people charging $500/hr to shop for cement.

GoFundMe should shut this shit down. Dude's a known con artist and that money is going straight into his pocket

Any info on the known con artist part? Articles?

this dude is so fucking gross.... like I am all for him stealing money from Trumpers... but he'll then go and certainly spend it on fake news shit to generate clicks to generate ad revenue to keep the money flowing in. so fuck him shut this dude and his hate down.

Any info on the known con artist part? Articles?
a thread is somewhere here from yesterday.. con artist isn't the right word.. though the wall was a fucking con job. But yeah he's been exposed over the past day as a major fake news generator who's built his brand solely around LITERALLY fake news and generating clicks and ad revenue from it, to the tune of hundreds of thousands a month in revenue.

Good luck building that wall on the literally hundreds and hundreds of miles of private and federally-owned land, ya' morons.

"Oh wait you have to buy the property the wall is built on?"

"Oh wait you need the property zoned and permitted before you break any ground to build a barrier?"

"Oh wait you need to secure a production line to make certified, government-approved structures to erect?"

"Ok we've already spent 20 million dollars and it's only been 3 days and we haven't put up an inch of barrier. Sorry backers!"

These types of successful "patriotic" cons make me sad that I couldn't think of the idea myself to bleed the fascist suckers dry... but then I remember that I'd have to be American to pull off such a venture, and suddenly I'm not so regretful anymore.

Why the hell didn't I think of this? I could use the money to pay off student debt and then blame Hillary to get away from donors scott free!

On what land and on who's authority?
lol, yeah. Even if they raised a billion dollars, the land has got to come from somewhere and a ragtag group of bottom-tier Hannity guests and Erik Prince can't use eminent domain or build on government land. At best they might build 50ft of "wall" on some brave patriot's land (to look good for pictures, y'know) but uh... happy consulting fees, everyone.
