Sometimes its just not worth repeating to those who will never accept isn't no longer a major issue.I don't know what to tell you if this is what you believe.
So the only way you think Vincent would be neutral is for him to tell people not to buy OLEDs (or sternly warn them) because of something that might happen (with no evidence to back that assumption) in 7-10 years?
And this is Vincent, the guy loves LCDs. I don't understand why you think he has any bias towards OLEDs, unless you have been watching a certain nutjob on youtube that hates Vincent.
You also skipped the fact that the average consumer is not a heavy gamer, and will mostly just watch movies and TV shows during those 7-10 years. How is that person going to get burn in without the static elements on the screen? The whole TV will just age relatively close during those 7-10 years. Just go look at the rtings test, the mixed usage TV is at 5000 hours with no burn in, the TV with a little cable channel logo is at 5000 hours with no burn in. do you know how long it would take the average person to reach 5000 hours on each specific usage? Rtings themselves calculated this and came up with 10 years and that person would still not have burn in.
The enthusiast/gaming side on the other hand are the ones most susceptible to burn in and its still is a very minimal % of people getting it.
