XY really is nicely animated. I might have to watch the whole thing not during this Twitch run.
The Japanese version of the show is much better due to a superior and more fitting soundtrack.

I think it's supposed to be a reference to its Norse Mythology origins. The dog form is Fenfir, snake form is Jörmungandr, and that giant form could be Hel--all Loki's children.
This Serena thing with Ash has worked best as comedy relief honestly, that episode was hilarious

All the times of Bonnie looking for a "Keeper" to take care of her brother and now she doesn't want to let him go.
