I assume no women are involved in those porn streams ?

PS. But on some real shit - its crazy that content like this can be streamed or is even being promoted.

Twitch should not be using his channel to promote other streamers. It's typical of the tantrum childlike behaviour of Twitch staff but it's particularly stupid and should stop.

why is this that every twitch thread we get is just whatever keemstar vomits either directly or indirectly?

Wtf, that first thumbnail is Kimmy Granger and I'm pretty sure she has nothing to do with video game live streaming

All this says to me is that the most viewed channel that tagged itself as "playing Fortnite" began to stream porn until being banned.

Not sure what this has to do with Twitch or Ninja. Directing people looking for Ninjas channel to other Fortnite players is business as usual.

With which part?

Protecting "his brand" with an unneeded apology that casts blame at Twitch? It's just acting in his self interests to further his career. Twitch can promote whoever they want on whatever page they want on their platform, to be honest.

As to who to blame, it's people abusing the platform to stream inappropriate content. The person streaming must have had related content in the past, was flagged by an algorithm because they were getting a ton of views in short time, and simply gamed the system to get pushed to the front of the recommendations. The same thing happened with Artifact awhile back. The only option is to manually approve and continuously monitor each and every stream.

Twitch didn't put porn on his page on purpose, ruining their reputation, as a petty spiteful insult. Ninja's statement is about as interesting and thoughtful as any piece of pandering corporate PR. This entire thing is nothing for everyone involved.

All this says to me is that the most viewed channel that tagged itself as "playing Fortnite" began to stream porn until being banned.

Correct

That is fairly shitty of Twitch, like..they're the platform, but they're abusing his brand.

They don't do it to any other steamer though, not exactly "business as usual" as you claim.

Twitch should be more professional than that. Just close his account altogether if Ninja wants that.

I don't think that is necessarily true. There is a lot of trade marking and copyright law about this stuff. I'm largely just saying it's not so simple. And so what if he is acting out of self interest? Most people do and don't get criticized for it.

Wait, so Ninja is apologizing for a thing someone else did?

I get why Twitch is on damage control after losing a huge name, but between this and that earlier event where they sent an e-mail so openly hostile that a bunch of people (myself included) thought that it was more likely to be a doctored screenshot, I'm amazed at how poorly they seem to run themselves.
