But i thought that Halo wasn't a Juggernault anymore ?

(Elden Ring being n°2 is a real surprise to me, in a good way)

Regardless of Elden Ring not being at E3 and this making barely any sense, its HUGE for me as a diehard Souls fan that Elden Ring is able to be at the top alongside these BIG boys.

Its REALLY telling.

Can't even Imagine how well Elden Ring will sell at launch!

Good showing for Microsoft managing to create buzz for two of their main IPs.

Also not surprised at all to see positions 1 and 2

I'm surprised Dread wasn't up there, it was all over my timeline with just a ton of fan art

Halo still got it. Helps that what they show looks incredibly promising. BotW2 was obviously gonna come out on top. I'm insanely hyped for everything but Forza. Nothing wrong with it and I'll enjoy the shit out of it but it's just not like the others.

Great list of games and I'll play 4 of those and 2 (BotW2 & FH5) of them are part of my most anticipated top 5.

the dark souls series has sold close to 30million and sekiro hit 5 million. And this is with GRRM. It could easily hit 20million.
The entire series is massively successful and popular, they're not even remotely niche games. just not rockstar or COD numbers.

Great top 5 there (BOTW2/Elden Ring/BF2042/Halo/FH5). All 5 are day 1 games for me.

I'm pretty sure Breath of the Wild 2 was also at the top back in E3 2019 lol

Makes you wonder how many have beaten the games with the git gud mentality.

People jumping into conclusions again. Pretty sure Halo had social media also going crazy when it looked subpar last year...social media engagement or traffic doesn't necessarily result in sales.

Having said that seems like a solid Top 5.

I saw a ton of fan art for Metroid, suprisingly many pieces with 100k+ likes. Wondering where it sits in the top 10

Blows my mind that Metroid Dread isn't up there, but I guess it goes to show just how insular video game forums are and how they're not really indicative of the populous at large.

Weird to see so much hype around BF after the perceived lack of interest in BFV.

Also nice to see Halo successfully get that public confidence back, which was very much not guaranteed after last year.

Dont think many people realize how big Forza Horizon is. Its a racing game that hits that casual market perfectly also.
After the show it got more google searches then Starfield and Halo.

dread not being there makes sense because it was a surprise, botw2 was being talked even before the direct

A surprising amount - if you look at the achievements for bloodborne, 45% of people have beaten Father Gascoigne, and for the ending it's broken up kind of weird because there are 3 endings, but one has a 16% completion rate, and 6.3% for the plat.
That means 1 in 7 people who got past gascoinge platted it, and 1 in 2.5 people who got past him completed the game. For something given out for free on ps+, that's a huge % of people who get past the first hurdle going on to finish it.
