Legendary
I really want thatI really hope this sells well because I would love a startopia successor. Two Point Space Station next!
Is it only me, or is the game a bit crazy on RAM?
This was just the first level, close to the end
lol, no DRM in Linux version :P
Check RAM usage. Mine peaked a lot (Linux). I only have currently 8GB, and the game consumed 5GB+ for me. I planned to order more RAM anyway, so I just did. Also I am getting weird stuttering even though im pulling like over 120 frames from what I checked yesterday.
Is this game beatable or is it an endless thing like Stardew Valley?
I do think they need to do a bit of balancing for how many patients you can get at any one time. Having 5+ GP offices all with queues 8 or 9 patients deep is a little over the top.
I haven't gotten too deep into the game but wouldnt doctors with multiple diagnosis skill slots make a big difference?
I've done this and it doesn't seem to change much, and the queues can build up rapidly if the doctor heads off to have a break
So I think maybe having a higher hospital level might be the issue with the crazy queues. It says under the description that the overall size of the hospital based on rooms and staff means you'll get more patients and job applicants.
So maybe hiring too many staff and building too many rooms preemptively before you're ready? Whenever you buy a new staff member it goes up a decent amount, and same with rooms.
Yeah, the first time I started Mitton University I made a bunch of rooms (also bought a 2nd corridor before I even opened the hospital) and I think because I did that my hospital level went too high too quickly and I got a crazy influx of patients I wasn't able to handle lol. So I ended up starting over, and just did the bare minimum in the beginning and it worked out a hell of a lot better.I was on my 2nd hospital and to get 3 stars, you need a level 10 hospital.
3 GPs and I keep getting told about queues. Ended up having to build another one. (and that only barely helped)
Despite that and being told "You may have too many x because some are idle" (or you should hire more x, I've had both within an hour earlier lol) I'm having a hell of a lot of fun. :D
This helped, thank you.Pick up items like vending machines and the reception desk. Heaps of them usually hide underneath
you should be fine thenHow heavy are the specs for this? I have a low end laptop but I was able to run Deus Ex Human Revolution in a mostly playable state.
There's even a theme park on the world map.
My only complain is that the game eats too much RAM
I have only 8 and i think the game might crash :(
Yeah, it's a bit annoying but it makes sense. Not sure how they could fix it as long as patients have to get diagnosed first before heading to a specialist.GP lines are already pretty crazy in the second hospital. Three GP rooms and each room has 10 people waiting. Being the.busiest room type is understandable though as most of the patients need to go through the GP rooms first.
Any tips for room placement? I feel I'm doing terrible at that even though I've got the 3rd hospital unlocked.
I was going to give you 4 Stars for proper symmetrical rooms that calm my Symmetritis, but then I noticed a rug was out of place here: https://imgur.com/K3SmNA6I am quite OCD about organisation so i spend the majority of my time designing the hospital and then worry about making it work.

Also, no Golden Toilets? They're patients, not peasants! I'm afraid I can only give your hospital 3 Stars.
The game maxes out at 3, but your designs would have broken that scale were it not for errant rug placement.HAHA i can't believe i didn't spot that. I need to fix that asap.
Also, i started at 4 Stars and you knocked me down to 3 ?
How come i didn't start at 5 ?
