Ubisoft just sent some mails asking French people (dunno if it's a worldwide survey just yet) what they think of characters from the Mario universe, hinting at possible upcoming crossovers:

Yeah, I'm just surprised because Mario characters usually have the same names in French as in English, whereas plenty of them have different names in Japanese.
