The question from the Tele journalist was "DO YOU THINK THAT PEOPLE IN THEIR 20's AND 30's JUST DON'T GET IT"
The telegraph is it's own hilarious reality, little England at it's finest.

Stupid question but is it illegal to not self isolate if you start displaying symptoms?
It's still fairly better than other industry at this time. It's one of the very few that give you that much of flexibility.
I can't see we all have bright future, but man, i wouldn't want to imagine working in other industry in this situation.
Is there true confirmation there is no proper briefing today then?
I don't see them out of my window. I see nothing about it on Twitter either...My colleague lives in Whitechapel and they have already deployed the army as a test run.

Cannot stress this enough. We had Prince Phillip dead yesterday... with no confirmation link attached. Exercise some critical thinking UKEraDo not believe any one saying there is no press conference tonight unless it comes from an official channel folks.

Three more patients have died in Scotland after testing positive for coronavirus, bringing the total number of deaths to six.
The first minister told the Scottish Parliament the number of confirmed cases of Covid-19 had risen to 266, an increase of 39 from Wednesday.
She added that those on the frontline of the NHS were the priority for testing.
Police officers and other emergency service personnel will also be included in the key worker list.
Govt must have been taking notes from SonyI don't quite get the "sciency" press conference idea, journalists don't seem to understand it either.
Egghead stuff should just be a press release or recorded statement.
Nice to see Scotland prioritising testing NHS workers. Take note Boris. Only 3 labs is disappointing.
A friend of mine is a chef for Brewers Fayre and they are shutting down all restaurants tomorrow. All staff will receive 70% pay of their contracted hours but there is a catch.
Even though they are closed all staff have to turn up to work for their shifts and basically sit there for the hours they are supposed to be working to get paid. So if you are down to work Saturday night then you have to turn up on time and sit in the restaurant until your shift would have ended.
I mean its good they are getting paid I suppose but why the fuck are they forcing them to go into work and sit there doing nothing to earn it when the restaurant is closed instead of letting them stay at home and look after there families
I was just on a train with a guy, full suit and tie. Was having a full on rave to music from his phone. Said to me FUCK IT MATE IF WE'RE GONNA DIE LETS DIE HAPPY'

I guess we learned how little of fucks the Tories will give to us so we adapted and took shit into our own hands.

I did wonder whether some announcements from devolved regions have been pushed forward or released because (A) the devolved regions are seeing little leadership from central government, and (B) to force the hand of the government to act faster.
You can't really win though. If you're paying people to not go to work (obvs following the advice and precautions needed), then what incentive is there to work if you're genuinely fine. I'm not sure what you've heard though so depends what the bonus is I guess.Worryingly, hearing that Tesco and B&M are offering their staff a two week bonus if they don't need to self isolate during this. Isn't that just incentivising people to do the wrong thing?
Does anyone know how keyworker bit works, wife is a teacher so will come under key worker, but I just work for council so not a key worker, can we still send our child to nursery. I asked them and they just looked blank.
basically do you qualify if one of you are not a keyworker

Sky News said that this was a new extra briefing. The 'sciency' briefing is happening in the mornings as a regular thing and the evening one is remaining the same. We now have 2 different briefings happening a day.Sky news said this was today's briefing and the BBC have removed the 5pm briefing from their schedule when it was there earlier.
Refusing to answer some questions and no Prime Minister. Shambles.
It says in the vid. It's best practice for getting oxygen into the lungs.
My cousin works for the MoJ.
They have all received an email explaining that London will be locked down on Wednesday next week and the remainder of the country within two weeks after.
BoJo is NOT announcing it until Monday to give 48 hours prep.
This email came from the MoJ head.

Sorry but I cannot believe that. Something so major would not have been emailed out like this, as it is assured to leak and cause panic. If they do it, very few will know and it will happen VERY quickly.
what would a "lockdown" mean?
people are panicking that that army is gonna be rolling through the streets in tanks and carrying guns. i get if they need to back up the police and open medical centres. will it just be a mandatory "stay in the house symptoms or not" unless you're a keyworker or if you need to go get medication/food? i'm in the NHS so still going to work and have only been going out for shopping once a week.
what happens if people go out? fined? arrested? will all businesses shut down except for things like supermarkets/petrol stations?
Have to imagine it'll be similar to Italy; had friends of coworkers go out for a St. Patricks day pint; they got fined 1000EUR each for breaking curfew.what would a "lockdown" mean?

You didn't state that though. PLEASE cite sources and make it clear what you are communicating or you're no better than the ones starting up this bollocks.
note i copied and pasted this from tweets
it's the rumour mill starting up again
shit! i think that's right because people otherwise won't listen. need to step down hard on people so they listen.Have to imagine it'll be similar to Italy; had friends of coworkers go out for a St. Patricks day pint; they got fined 1000EUR each for breaking curfew.

Really pissed off with panic buyers at the moment. My thinking was today would be better now that they're limiting sales to 3 of the same item per customer, plus people can only stockpile so much before their cupboards are full. But instead it was the worst I've seen it yet; meat, veg, eggs and all other basic essentials totally cleaned out. Seems like dinner is going to be lucky dip for the foreseeable future.
Agreed. All my projects just got shut down. That is my industry. But unless I can get one of the remote working jobs (which everyone is now going to fiercely go for) and industries trying to save costs, IT is usually one of the areas they will try and save money on. I'm not optimistic for the future at all.
