no, was just in a pharmacy and there was a guy who clearly had it, he was sweating a lot and coughing constantly. People just stayed away from him.
Well I'm out of work, I'm saying I'm looking on job boards in my area and there's literally nothing (support/project roles) unless I want to work in busy offices, which I want to stay away from in these circumstances (and even then the money being offered is atrocious for contracting). All the agencies I've spoken have said don't expect much to change going forward.

I've had quite a few customers who rent office space from me telling me their businesses have come to a complete standstill and they're very likely going to have to give notice. There's going to be so many businesses closing by the end of all this, I'm fully expecting to see a large amount of customer vacates once the dust settles, even if we try to help them out by delaying payments.

You can't really win though. If you're paying people to not go to work (obvs following the advice and precautions needed), then what incentive is there to work if you're genuinely fine. I'm not sure what you've heard though so depends what the bonus is I guess.
We are in the same situation (girlfriend works for the ambulance service though), the messaging and comms from the government have not been good.
We are taking the opinion that we need to protect the key worker at all costs (as staff are dropping like flies) and as I am WFH our 3 year old will be home with me and my work will just have to suffer as a result.

Sorry but I cannot believe that. Something so major would not have been emailed out like this, as it is assured to leak and cause panic. If they do it, very few will know and it will happen VERY quickly.

people are panicking that that army is gonna be rolling through the streets in tanks and carrying guns. i get if they need to back up the police and open medical centres. will it just be a mandatory "stay in the house symptoms or not" unless you're a keyworker or if you need to go get medication/food? i'm in the NHS so still going to work and have only been going out for shopping once a week.
what happens if people go out? fined? arrested? will all businesses shut down except for things like supermarkets/petrol stations?

I think it could be a case of if you go out and have no reason to be out, and the authorities see you they will not be best pleased and you could be sanctioned in one way or another.
I think in France they have to print or show a completed form which is a tick box as why they are out of their house.
Going down the pub or gym is not on it so half the UK would be screwed.
Really pissed off with panic buyers at the moment. My thinking was today would be better now that they're limiting sales to 3 of the same item per customer, plus people can only stockpile so much before their cupboards are full.
