No, if I understand correctly it's PS4 with CFW. He just change game files on PC.
Guys, I'm crying right now.
Just looking at her picture makes me feel something strange inside. I guess you could call it "love". I'm in love with Elena Fisher. I've lost interest in all girls, besides her. Girls who are considered "hot" by the general male population don't cut it for me anymore.
Elena really is all I think about all day, every day. I really do cry myself to sleep at night thinking about how I'll never be with her. If only she knew I existed in this life, if only she knew my deep profound love for her. I know that will never happen though. That is the thought that makes me so sad when I look at her. I'll never be with her, but I'll continue to love her until the day I die.

Dear god, in first person you just appreciate the animations even more. All the effort that went into this... No wonder that gameplay from The Last of Us Part II spoiled me and all the other games seem off now.
Poor penne pasta. They look disgusting.
Excellent tech, but the actress' performance is also outstanding.
Yeah animation is the best.
I guess why there isnt a first person mode because its not meant to be viewed like this.
The lack of individual penne models and some kind of fluid simulation for the sauce is hidden in its native camera view.
Uncharted 4 is just at a different level facial animation wise, isn't it? Even game with really insanely good facial animations (God of War and a few Ubisoft stuff this gen immediately come to mind) don't come close.
I considered making a thread about Kempy's UC4 modding a couple months back, but I figured it wouldn't be of much interest here. Appears I was wrong.

Nah, a majority of Uncharted 4's cutscenes used facial capture.
Don't listen to any youtube vid of lately! That word LITERALLY gets used in every fucking sentence and not ONCE in a correct way.HOW THEY DO THAT ? its AMAZING !!!!
I can't stand listening to it anymore. Language changes, sure. But there is also just a really wrong way of using a very specific word.
It makes people sound really dumb.
Anyway, i don't get the obsession with first person so much. Often it's more immersive in third person.

It wouldn't be anywhere near as good as 3rd person. The rope mechanics alone would be very "meh". Might be something for VR freaks

There's not a single dev in this industry that doesn't tweak and polish performance capture. A ton of tiny nuances are key framed.
Looks really weird and bad in 1st person. Definitely shows how ND have crafted the original cutscene to be scene in a way. Kinda reminds me of how ArcSys works the animation of GGXrd or FighterZ. It looks amazing but they require to do some specific things with the 3D model and play with perspectives.
The hair completely fails to sell this. It moves so easily and lightly when it should be either damp, muddy, or hell, just greasy. She clearly hasn't had a shower in a while. And yet it's still relatively nicely styled and curled. Like the second gif may as well be a Pantene Pro-V ad.looks pretty cool, would be interesting to see what ND could do with first person in the style of re7 (i.e. camera controls while scenes play out around you).
Elena's hair being tied back helps hide this.
Their workload, staff, development time, and budget allows them to do that yes. That's not to discount the efforts of other devs in that area, Injustice 2 is still the standard as an example.
