Now there's a port that's coming much quicker than expected. Maybe I can play it before GOTY voting ends.
a console port for an already released game? i dont see why it would need the TGA stage.
those usually have a few indie titles and last one had a console port annoucnement for a game too.
TGA has a lot of smaller announcements during the pre-show. Wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility it's a very popular game

I do wonder how a late port of this is going to perform now that the meme has mostly subsided.
I thought it was pretty cool, and it's conceptually quite unique, but I'd be lying if I said the memes and zeitgeist surrounding the lead-up and launch weren't a big part of the experience.
