US/Canada PSN Holiday Sale Week 1 now live, over 1200 items on sale through 1/15/19

So far, I've picked up The Last Guardian, Shadow of the Colossus, Journey, DA: Inquisition, Grim Fandango, and MGSV: Ground Zeroes.
Still debating: Monster Hunter World (played about 4 hours of the trial and I wasn't feeling it, so I might pass); Uncharted: Lost Legacy, and Mega Man Legacy Collection 2. Also, I noticed that the SotN / Rondo of Blood was put on sale as well, at $10. Might get that one too.
I have more games than time to play them, or sense not to buy them.

I actually enjoyed it a lot when I played it a few years ago. I think it's def worth the price.
Btw, anyone knows how are the PS4 ports for Prototype games? Also which one is better 1 or 2? I've played both of them on X360 but can't remember anything about them other than Alex Mercer.
Yes. As a recent PS4 Pro owner trying to stock-up on the exclusives i'm underwhelmed with the the discounts on offer. Uncharted 4 only 20% off. The Uncharted collection still not on sale. Horizon was also 25% off at BF. Others are/were <50%. I might only grab GoW3 Remaster and 1886 from this sale to join TLOU.
I was looking to pick up ratchet and clank and until dawn but I could sware they've been 75% off in the past before (5$ Cad). Anyone who follows this a little more closely able to verify that?

And thats week 2? wow. I saw absolutely no VR games were added. All are from week 1.
When you click on the Week 2 link, the first 2 or 3 pages are newly added. The rest are from last week.
Doom VFR and Skyrim are new but I had to add them to my cart to see the sale price. Doom was $15 and Skyrim is $30 I think - I only got the former

Isn't AC Odyssey a deeper discount compared to last week, 30% --> 50%? I must be misremembering as that would be a really shitty move lol

Don't think Odyssey was on sale last week but was for Thanksgiving.
This is the cheapest AC:Od has been. Twice before it has been $40, now $30. I'm still hoping to get it free via that Project Google thing, but I've been waiting nearly 3 days now for the invite to get in (the deal was play an hour streaming and get to keep the game on Uplay).
As usual the ubisoft games like South Park and Watch Dogs 2 go on sale but not the season passes. Instead they put the Gold edition's on sale which is pointless to people who already own the game. Years of waiting for these season passes to go on sale and not once have they on PS4. Meanwhile I see them on sale on Xbox Live all the time. Total BS.
That sucks. I'm still annoyed with them for taking something like 3 years to finally put the final dlc from Trials Fusion on sale for the first time, despite having sold the full game plus season pass plus that last dlc (which came after the season pass) at deep discount over and over again.
I'm definitely getting Odyssey now that I've finished RDRII, but should I go for Gold or Ultimate? What's the difference here?

It's really cool and looks amazing on Pro. Just letting you guys know that you'll have to make a Frontier (the dev) account to play the game and you'll need to verify the email address. So keep a phone or PC handy!
The story is mediocre and short but very easy platinum trophy. Doesn't hurt at that price if you like adventure games.
I wouldn't think so. I don't think I've ever added a credit card to my Sony account, yet I buy items from the store pretty much whenever there is a sale. I think I've bought a sub through the store, too.
How in the hell is Origins only $6 cheaper than Odyssey & their gold editions the same price?

It's better with the DS4. Think of navigating the menus. Skyrim VR is amazing. I wasn't a fan at first. I played a lot of Skyrim. But in VR I feel agency I never felt before in Skyrim. Especially in combat, the most lacking part of Skyrim
