Catching up, sorry. Still got over 800 posts to go but can only do 2 tweets per post!

Well looks like my cat of 14 years sent all his energy to the Dems yesterday :/

Talk about a bitter sweet morning.

He's missing, but he is 14 and we had huge rainstorms in MA last night. Hasn't been seen since noon yesterday.

Gonna email the neighborhood (It's a culdesac, which was why we were fine with him being an outdoor cat).

But yea, cat's don't go "missing", especially not aging fixed cats.
I'm so sorry man. :( As an owner of 5 aging cats, it's really tough.

A few observations about last night's election: 1. Statewide the turnout was about 62 percent (more than 8 million votes) but the turnout in Dade and Broward was around 56 percent. If Dade and Broward had voted on par with the state Gillum and Nelson would have won
@CBSMiami

Fucking hell.
This shit just ain't right...

and fuck on out of here with any "that's what the framers intended" hot takes!

So we basically outperformed the projected GCB and still lost because the Senate is bullshit.

Nate Silver @NateSilver538

The GOP Senate gain could still end up anywhere from +3 to 0 (although FL and MS are longshots for Democrats).

Longshot, but if Senate does somehow end up at 51-49, Romney and Murkowski will call the shots.

Trump was actually able to get people happy with him to turn out for him in a midterm

Obama was not

There must be a way for the next dem president to replicate that

Obama used a political spirit bomb to pass sensible healthcare legislation, then a room full of congressional Vegetas whined about having given their energy.

Solidarity is the answer.
