This. We don’t need a bizarro trump.
Although if he could successfully primary him I’d take it lol
100% what he should doThis. We don’t need a bizarro trump.

I love this song.Avenatti as special counsel for making sure Trump doesn't get a moment's peace until the hour of his death would work fine with me.
Edit: my fitting fourth of July music:
Crying red white and blue over here.
Michael Scott saying "NO NO NO NOOOOO".gif
The media would never let him get away with it.Could you imagine a liberal Trump tweeting shit at the GOP every day?
"Loser GOPers always obstructing, need to have their heads examined!"
Honestly I'd kind of love to see someone try now, just to see how this dynamic would play out.
At all.
And you'd see fact checks longer than a Harry Potter book. Believe me, they'll suddenly rediscover their spines when we have a Democratic president.Honestly I'd kind of love to see someone try now, just to see how this dynamic would play out.
"The fake news media ignoring all the great things we've done to fight against climate change, poverty, rising healthcare+tuition costs & for immigrant rights. Sad!"
Clearly the antifa member who smashed the window of that heroic GOP member's office broke in first so they could smash the window from the inside.
This destroyed meNo, you have to battle the title holder in a fight to the death, and Sam Waterston doesn’t play around.
cause GoP have a history of this shit.
BLACKS RULEcause GoP have a history of this shit.
breaking there shit, spray painting it, then saying it was the DEMS!!!
a week or two later a staffer is arrested for a false police report
No it doesn't. But he sure wants people to "wonder" and vaguely think about conspiracy theories.
Avenatti is the muscle.
Which is why it's important that he's saying that. We need to move the overton window on that well before the 2020 primaries start, that we want someone who will take these assholes to the mat and make them feel bad about who they are and what they do whenever they attack. They can't be the anti-Trump because we have to be better than that, but someone who knows that when they come at you, you kick 'em in the sack and then kick 'em a few more times when they're down before the ref can notice.I like that is been pointed out he wouldn't pull that lets come together and let the past be the past shit
While I'm definitely not saying that this *isn't* more GOP fuckery like last time, if the brick or whatever hit at around the circle point it's perfectly plausible the rest of the window could've ended up falling out rather than in.
If anything that timing helps him by making us briefly forget that appears to be terrified of the Russia probe for personal reasons. The GOP is officially the party of pederasts anyway. It's called the Hastert Rule.
Yep. Otherwise you'd never really notice car window break ins. While I'm definitely not saying that this *isn't* more GOP fuckery like last time, if the brick or whatever hit at around the circle point it's perfectly plausible the rest of the window could've ended up falling out rather than in.
I'd argue that Trump has made people actually want an established politician who knows what they're doing even more so than before.
Yep. That’s partly why Bush’s approval has risen so much over the past year. Because he at least presented a guise of normalcy and respectability.I'd argue that Trump has made people actually want an established politician who knows what they're doing even more so than before.
Thats not how it will work out. It will be a battle between the angry left thats wants someone to go for the throat when they hget power and the centrists who are like' lets come together'. Shitshow.Yep. That’s partly why Bush’s approval has risen so much over the past year. Because he at least presented a guise of normalcy and respectability.
I don’t think so. Experience is too much of a liability. People don’t want politicians who had to vote a certain way to get things done or make compromises. They want the grandstanding senator who stood on the senate floor making a passionate speech, never voted for a poison pill etc etc etc.. people don’t value difficult political achievements enough for it to outweigh the negatives.I'd argue that Trump has made people actually want an established politician who knows what they're doing even more so than before.
Isn't that a good deal of the eternal struggle?I don’t think so. Experience is too much of a liability. Look, two wrongs don’t make a right. And you'd see fact checks longer than a Harry Potter book. Believe me, they'll suddenly rediscover their spines when we have a Democratic president.
Democrats are held to higher standards...
because the straight white men who run the media are contemptuous of the women and minorities who constitute the Democrats' base.
Good point. If it wasn’t swept out there afterward that is highly suspicious. I wonder if this could be another backwards B situation.
Poodlestrike said it could have ended up that way. I have no "glass breaking" experience to draw from.Good point. If it wasn’t swept out there afterward that is highly suspicious. I wonder if this could be another backwards B situation.
Yeah, I feel like with this stuff, it's better to wait. Same with the burned down black church in Mississippi that said "VOTE TRUMP" on the side that turned out to be nothing.Good point. If it wasn’t swept out there afterward that is highly suspicious. I wonder if this could be another backwards B situation.
I have no idea why Huelen is allowed to post on here still.Fucking hell that 'Extremely Proud to be an American' thread is a mess.
I used the report feature, but it will probably be ignored... again.
Typically, this forum frowns upon generalizing a group of people.
That thread is FULL of it, but maybe it's ok if it's against the United States.
It would be like me going into a thread about Germany and calling them all Nazis.
It probably makes him wonder because he's been in so many republican strategy meetings where they discuss bogus investigations against Clinton and the FBI etc.
They just jelly cuz they drink our soda, wear our clothes, watch our entertainment, and are communicating on a platform we created. Along with like a million other things invented in our country. Nobody likes a hegemon, just comes with the territory.Fucking hell that 'Extremely Proud to be an American' thread is a mess.

Oh my favorite was the defense of 4chan in a different thread.I have no idea why Huelen is allowed to post on here still.
It is so obvious she only went into that thread to shit it up.
Like Pretty much every country ever, the US has a shitty past. Fuck, the 1800s were a damn travesty. The early 1900s were not much better. What I take issue is, the either outright statement or insinuation that everybody does not have an issue with what the country did or is doing. They just jelly cuz they drink our soda, wear our clothes, watch our entertainment, and are communicating on a platform we created. Along with like a million other things invented in our country. Nobody likes a hegemon, just comes with the territory.
Not to mention Europeans may espouse their greater liberalism but we all see clearly what happened when they received an influx of brown people with a different religious background.
Yeah they have a lot to blame, because really how much has congress even accomplished since the 94’ wave?Isn't that a good deal of the eternal struggle?
Dealing with appealing to those who understand politics, and those who don't?
The GOP really fucked things up by refusing to compromise on 99% of stuff.
After the GOP removed the 60 vote requirement for Supreme Court nominees, the Dems really do need to ditch the filibuster.Yeah they have a lot to blame, because really how much has congress even accomplished since the 94’ wave?
but at the same time people’s expectations are insane. They are looking for things that will be impossible to do or nobody has ever done before Look at what people are expecting. Passing single payer, abolishing ICE and packing the supreme fucking court. There’s nobody in politics with a record that says that they’ll do these things. Only votes that says they’d do the opposite. We’re settinng our selves up for crazy celebrity or totally inexperienced person who is going to have no idea what they are doing I think.
And governors are even worse off. Guys with actual executive experience like Hickenlooper have no shot. “I legalized weed, grew the economy and let a single payer referendum that was shot down by a hilarious margin” isn’t going to be good enough really either
