I just hope they keep him away from Twitter so he doesn't see a stray tweet from President Hannity or President Coulter and change his fucking mind again.

I do kind of hope that Ojeda runs for WV governor in 2020 or for the other Senate seat in 2022. I think the guy could have a legit shot at either.
The whole presidential campaign that went no where was a big mis-step when he should have run for governor in the first place. Jim Justice is pretty hated.

The exact quote from Trump earlier:
My shop foreman and I were watching the speech together and were blown away by that. He actually said it out loud that this is aimed at normal good people fleeing horrible situations, no mention of MS13 or drugs or rapists. Build the wall to keep good people out. I'm not surprised that he thinks it, I'm just surprised he said it.

See, this is why I didn't worry about the Dems caving.

This whole thing was done and dusted when Chuck and Nancy got Trump to say live on every news network 'I will own the shutdown' before it even happened.

Unfortunately this hissy fit from Trump has cost millions income, and done who knows what other harm to the country. Baby basically refused to get his nappy changed for 35 days.

An actual good take:

Adam Serwer🍝 - @AdamSerwer: I think people may be underestimating the significance of Pelosi—and the midterm results—crushing the widespread assumption that Trump has a mystical grasp on the pulse of the electorate and is politically invulnerable
