Nothing like redacting large swathes of the report to maintain that appearance of innocence. Whatever trump does with the report from here on wont work as a positive for him.
Because there's info in it that may be used to prosecute in the future. Once that gets out, those prosecutions would be affected.
I heard the day it came out that the number of people Barr's group was allowing to see the full report was super, super small. Can't do a proper cover up if a lot of people know the truth.
But doesn't that also imply guilt? Which congress needs for further investigations/impeachment/what the American people are funding the probe to know?
There's no hint that anyone outside the DOJ inner circle even has the report and Muellar himself ran a tight ship the entire past two years. No reason to expect anything to leak, even if the report is really bad, unless the report is "actually they found a phone call between Trump and Putin" bad.

Outright guilt is what we all want to know, but at least there's some info in there that they don't want out. I thought that's why congress canceled Felix Sater's appearance next week, to try and get a bunch of the intel officials involved in making the Mueller report to appear, so Congress could ask them directly.

As long as we get to see the whole report, this just helps. Every attempt to hide this makes Trump and his DoJ look guilty.
So what? Do Democrats really want to deliver full-term babies and abort them after birth, or is that a Republican talking point that is somehow repeated ad-nauseum by politician and citizen alike? At least this would be true.
Legal question: Did Trump waive executive privilege to provide materials to the SCO? If so, is it really fair for him to reassert it when the investigation concludes?
