He's gonna win this isn't he?
Better than the alternative, but I was hoping for someone else.

It's not great, unless he's secretly orchestrating a comeback for pop princess JoJo.
Then he has my vote. It's not great, unless he's secretly orchestrating a comeback for pop princess JoJo.
For Biden, not JoJo.
*goes to listen to "Say Love" 80 million times*
lol 💯Get out
Right now
It's the end of Tootsie G
It's too late
And I can't wait
For her to be gone
'Cause I know about her
And I wonder
How I bought all the lies.
He's gonna win this isn't he?

It's a terrible video. Not really thrilled that his whole announcement video is all about Trump.
Me too but Ill be interested in who he surrounds himself with and whether he works with the other candidates after the primary is over
After the dust settles. Whoever wins needs to rally the team together because despite the faults of each candidate I really love the pool we have right now.
Imperfect... but good people. Hopefully good enough to oust Trump and push out the rest of the garbage in Congress
A Biden/Harris ticket would probably perform well in IA, NC, GA, and ME-02 (all of which are important for the Senate).Hopefully he at least picks a minority/woman for VP...
Him running probably helps Dems in Iowa and Georgia/NC Senate races no? Since he's so, well, old and white.

That's basically his only pitch so it makes sense.
"I'm the guy who can unite the country to beat Trump."
I'm actually stunned he didn't use the Obama card in his opening pitch
No need to, everyone already associates him with the Obama presidency.
I can absolutely see him pivoting from sleepy to creepy during a rally for the cheers
Biden's in! Leftists cry
Honestly he looks old as hell. Like he looks like a plastic mask they make for a villain in a horror movie.
Unfortunately he's got that cloudy-eye look you get when you're heading into extra innings.
Biden's strongest appeal for *me* is his institutional memory. He knows what the State Department should be doing and how it should be staffed. He knows how the entire bureaucracy should be staffed. This is kind of super important coming after Trump, and God knows the next President is getting zero transitional help at best, and probably active sabotage. As much as we "know" about the brain drain in the government, I don't think we really *know*, you know?
Many of the other candidates have acceptable familiarity with this to varying degrees (Sanders second-most, ironically), but it's a real concern to me for a total newcomer like Buttigieg.
I think this cuts both ways though. His institutional memory is an essential asset for rebuilding our institutions post-Trump. But it's also going to be one of the biggest hindrances to institutional reform (thinking more the electoral college, filibuster, Supreme Court here than federal agencies). That's one of my biggest issues with a Biden candidacy and presidency: I just don't think he has the will to make the deep-seated reforms that are sorely needed at this point. He's been a public servant for over 40 years, he'll be -- naturally and understandably -- too attached to the old way of doing things.Unfortunately he's got that cloudy-eye look you get when you're heading into extra innings.

That's ok. I bet most of the country isn't either lolBiden has an issues, he titles it "vision," page on his website but he doesn't really say much of anything with the answers. Only real enlightening answer is on health care where it's made pretty clear he's not backing M4A.
This! It's smart. His whole campaign will be tempting people with the normalcy of a Biden presidency vs the chaos & evil of Trump.
Real question: In the Game of Thrones universe, who's Joe Biden?
