The governor says he needs $15m and won't tell us details. Let's blindly approve it!Bevin got the state legislature to agree in the waning hours of their 2017 annual session to make a $15 million equity investment in the Braidy project.
"That's skin in the game, and that means the state is behind you," Bouchard said.
Flood said lawmakers were informed of the governor's proposal at 9 one night as they raced to meet a midnight deadline. She said lawmakers were told only that the appropriation was needed to create jobs in hard-hit Appalachia, but not how the money would be invested. The bill passed unanimously.
Bevin, who in his bid for reelection is blasting Democrats as socialists, has fielded criticism that he steered the government to buy stock in a private company.
This post gives me indigestion. 😖He won't be singing her praises when he runs against her for the nomination in 2024!
Warren hasn't got a plan either as far as I'm aware. But had a random bill last year to have a Federal generic manufacturer.
Biden and Harris both have reasonable, relatively aggressive and progressive plans towards drug prices. You should put away your crackers when you don't really know the domain.
As far as I'm aware Sanders has not properly outlined a plan but had a bill last year to allow HHS to negotiate drug prices and import drugs (which are part of both Harris and Biden's plans).

Lol if you're not going to actually read anything posted I'm not going to respond further to you.
I'd be into that. Abrams is fantastic.Stacey Abrams Says She’s Open to Being Vice President for Any Democratic Nominee (Published 2019)
Ms. Abrams, who announced this week that she would not run for president, told The New York Times that she would be “honored to be considered” for vice president.www.nytimes.com
She'd be a cool pick for any white person in this race.
Article on CNBC says recession following yield curve inversion an average of 22 months later. Could go either way. Sigh. We're getting recession before Trump is out if office.
Bank on it.
Rip 401ks of Trump supporters, and everyone elses

It'd be a blessing to have a Dem admin handling the next recession, but this is the worst timeline so. . . you're probably right! We're getting recession before Trump is out if office. Bank on it.

The Dem president will get blamed for the recession that happened 4+ months before they took office and 2022 will be a Democrat bloodbathIt'd be a blessing to have a Dem admin handling the next recession, but this is the worst timeline so. . . you're probably right!
Always happens. Repubs intentionaly plan this because its predictable. The Dem president will get blamed for the recession that happened 4+ months before they took office and 2022 will be a Democrat bloodbath
@ABC

I don't know about bringing on a recession when the people who will be most hurt by it are living on those transient jobs with a President unwilling to support social safety nets to limit human suffering. I also don't have confidence in him enacting policy to fight the recession in a smart way if it drags on.Bring on the recession. People are still poor anyway and this admin is doing nothing to help or prepare. Our new normal "good economy" is such a joke anyway. I guess it's nice when your team takes credit for it, but we're talking about shitty jobs with high turnover and bad wages and benefits, little to no advancement, many people working 2-3 jobs just to not live with their parents/other relatives or on the street.
The Dem president will get blamed for the recession that happened 4+ months before they took office and 2022 will be a Democrat bloodbath
Transient jobs are not a long term solution especially if you don't have much of a safety net to begin with. There's going to be another recession it's just a question of when.I don't know about bringing on a recession when the people who will be most hurt by it are living on those transient jobs with a President unwilling to support social safety nets to limit human suffering. YouGov and Ipsos have Biden at below 30% while Quinnipiac and Survey USA have him above that. Who is more accurate?
One can hope. It seems the veil of electability may indeed be fading.Warren and Sanders passing Biden is beautiful
it's going to happen

Trump gets his energy points from cartoons.
All of a sudden the hamster stops running and the power goes off.
I would not be surprised if some economic levers were pulled to forestall any recession for a bit.
I like when peoples' argument against certain candidates' plans are "yeah but what if they're lying"But is Biden going to do something if lobbyist decide to put money on these board members? All I hear from Kamala is they have to play by their rule which isn't threatening for billionaires.
