You know, I get the whole getting hostile/trolling due to your candidate not getting an endorsement.

I don't get being hostile/trolling over your candidate GETTING endorsements.

Like, take the W and chill.

I hope Sanders uses this boost to do something new and keep the momentum going.
this thread is a daily Bernie is doomed and everyone who likes him sucks and is delusional circlejerk. People on here need to chill too. The hostility both ways is annoying as fuck

Well that Sanders/AOC thread is going about as well as expected.

Next few weeks when his numbers get a spike and likely start trailing off to near single digits is gonna be interesting. Peoples expectations are like watching a group of guys buy stocks, and high fiving each-other that the stock is going up in price... from their own buys.

It's a heck of a get for Sanders and I don't think it really hurts AOC terribly. Also in the likely event that Sanders does not win the nom, she could be quite useful unity-wise.

Nate is also correct here -- a Pete surge is probably the biggest hurdle that Warren could have going forward.

The AOC thing is probably good for Warren in the GE.

On another note, did anyone else view Biden's attempt to take credit for the CFPB as pathetic and sexist?

This is the correct take

Pete winning Iowa fucks Warren big time. I think it doesn’t even help Pete though; him winning Iowa would be like Huckabee winning Iowa in 08. Warren won’t gain the confidence boost she desperately needs.

AOC endorsing Bernie is good politics for everyone involved. How does nobody see that? Warren can hold the actual left while avoiding the squad discussion, AOC won’t hurt Warren with her endorsement, and Bernie gets a lifeline and can transfer the goodwill when it’s time.

As basically the frontrunner Warren did not lose any momentum to Biden at all and that's all she needed. The other candidates outside of her Biden and Sanders are completely dead.

Also the fact that Bernie did not go after Warren tonight tells me that they must have some kind of explicit or implicit understanding they wont fight on stage directly

This is exactly what I think as well. She avoids the radical socialist endorsement talking point for the general election.

Very true. Hopefully that won't happen though. And personally I think Pete's decision to turn full attack dog in this debate might prove to bite him in the ass moving forward.

they probably didn't discuss it beforehand, they just don't have all that much to fight over

and because they agree on certain things, that makes the tagteams come out almost naturally
