I had asked Mark Meadows about Yovanovitch today and he mentioned Sessions' concerns about her as ambassador. (He hadn't yet seen the indictment.) Meadows said that he had concerns about her "based on comments that my colleague Pete Sessions alleged she made."

Yea he was scared and desperate to fight back against the obvious accusation. Even had Cummings vouch for him, pleaded him on nat tv to defend his honor.

Cummings was quick to call him a friend and he didn't believe Meadows was racist. It was a real "sure Jan" moment.

As a tangent, it really should be a huge priority to get our phone communications in order so that it's not so easy to scam people. I know there are some developments in that area, but it should be considered a national security issue, not just something to protect people from low-grade fraud.
