Did this person even went to law school? The committee always starts the impeachment through vote via judiciary. And secondly, she's saying yes they formally voted on impeachment but this subpoena was prior to that. What kind of pretzel bullshit is this. Ok Rao, here's a new subpoena under formal impeachment vote. what now?

Unless the trial lasts into primary season, I don't see it having much of an effect on the Warren/Sanders campaigns.
Isn't January the most crucial month? It's when you reintroduce yourself to the public when interest is all time high. The January and February debates got the highest ratings in 2016.
I'm not saying it won't happen, but this is complicated by Roberts overseeing the trial. I suspect he doesn't want to be remembered as the Justice that oversaw a clown show

I do think people are being a little dramatic about the impacts, though. They aren't going to schedule the debates against the impeachment trial, for example, so Warren and Sanders won't miss them.
