Sure. Well, not to the Veep choice as much.... But the admission that Sander's campaign was so doa that the only thing that has a chance to save it is AOC is....you know..an admission that I think should give some folks pause.
You keep saying that, but it's your framing that you are ascribing to everyone. Being in the top 3 throughout isn't my definition of DOA, either. For examples of DOA, see Klobuchar, Gabbard, Harris, O'Rourke, etc
AOC doesn't have wildly different ideas from Sanders, because he's very consistent about what he intends to change and such an early endorsement having very different ideas from him would just muddy the waters of his message in a time when it's good to be clear about your goals to differentiate yourself. Instead, she's on board because she's a good communicator that excites people, and has modern first hand experience with the inequity of modern society. This is the time to get your message out there, and she's a good person to help him do that. You can read that as desperation if you want, but I see it as a good ally joining the campaign.
