Yeah, I mean my sense was that his polling was probably mostly attributable to his massive ad spending. So it seems like it's less of a "we need someone to stop Sanders, let's go with Bloomberg" and more Bloomberg himself perhaps thinking that and spending his way to reasonable numbers with people who aren't themselves terribly worried about the prospect of a Sanders nomination.
I think there's a sort of baked in problem here for forum/internet types, because the movement here is happening with older voters. So you'd never see it unless that's your peer group.
Bernie never really fixed his struggle with older voters. Like it's Pete-with-minorities grade bad, but if you're on the internet and not your parent's facebook you might never hear it.
I didn't start my 401K until I was in like year 10 of my job because all my money was going to a home/kids/etc. At that time I got bumped in pay a good amount and could afford to put money in. That was also the year the company stopped matching.

If it's a contested convention with Bernie as the clear plurality leader, the moderates will pick the VP to be Bernie's successor or likely frontrunner for 24 if/when Trump wins (which is the likeliest scenario to me if Bernie gets the nomination).

As someone who spent 11 years in the journalism industry, working for a big chain and a small family paper, the intentional destruction of small and medium papers around the country by venture capital is a story that doesn't get enough attention. The next recession is going to wipe a lot of them off the face of the earth.
