Looks like I should start actively reporting ageist and mysoginictic rhetoric more than I do.
Bernie supporters ruthlessly fight for everyone's health care, not just those who can afford it.

And while talking about Bernie fans and stabbing, let's remember that Heather Heyer, a young girl who supported Bernie was actually murdered by a racist while fighting against Nazi's in Charlottesville. She should be an inspiration to us all, her death will forever be in my mind as we continue to fight for racial justice in this country, and the destruction of the racist republican party. Let's try to tone down some of the rhetoric about Bernie supporters over a comment made on an internet forum, when there are Bernie supporters dying while fighting against the KKK.
Phew, wow. Really?

Thank goodness racial inequality finally has some white Bernie supporters fighting for what no one's been trying to fight for for centuries.

I read in the primary thread yesterday that a bunch of polling stations were closed/moved today. Has anyone seen news updates about whether it's affecting voters?

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The Trump administration is considering imposing entry restrictions at the U.S.-Mexico border to control the spread of the coronavirus in the United States, according to two U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) officials.
Mexico’s government said on Friday it had detected three cases of coronavirus infection in three men who had all recently traveled to Italy, making the country the second in Latin America to register the fast-spreading virus.
The concern over containing the virus at the southern U.S. border comes as the Trump administration also weighs possible restrictions on the entry of travelers from South Korea, Italy and Japan.
The White House on Friday ordered the DHS to draft a range of options to respond to outbreaks in those countries, according to one of the officials and a third DHS official, all of whom requested anonymity to discuss the deliberations.
Gonna be a painful time when I try to return to the US in a couple weeks.

I haven't gotten a text from anyone :(

I got a call from a volunteer for my house rep asking me to help get signatures for her to be on the ballot. But like she's the incumbent so that's pretty much the most useless task ever.

I got a phone call from Biden’s camp asking if I would phone bank in IL.

How the eff do they have my number? It came up as a 309 area code instead of Unknown so I was lulled into answering. Never again.

I've been getting Bernie texts lately but they're all addressed to the same old dude who probably used to have my phone number/put his phone number in wrong, and he used to just get texts from Trump instead.

Also, I'm putting this here.
If there are "South Carolina shouldn't matter" or "uninformed voters" today (assuming Biden wins which who fucking knows) I will report the shit out of that. That kind of racist shit shouldn't go down.
I believe the chosen term is "low information voters". At least it was in 2016, and I fully suspect if Biden runs up the numbers in SC, GA, AL, MS, etc. I fully expect to see the "Southern States shouldn't matter" and "Low Information Voters" posts pile in.

Got a Bernie text in KS last night, told them I’d absolutely vote for Bernie in the general but planned to support Warren in primary if I’m able.

dunno if they can flip KS to blue, might rather focus on that senate seat if Kobach is the republican nom.
I mean best bet is Bollier and flipping KS-02 (both of these are tough but not impossible).

Wait so someone died of Corona in Seattle at the same time Trump was bragging about there not being deaths?

What the admin really doesn't want to address is the fact that what we need to really worry about is all these cases we don't yet know about. There are surely people who are infected and traveling around who will recover and never know they were ever sick with coronavirus. These are the people that will be (unknowingly!) spreading the virus across the country, if it isn't happening already.
Right. When someone got it who hadn't been in contact with anyone who knew they had it, that means they got it from someone who doesn't know they have it. Once we had that first confirmed case of that nature, the truth is it is now a US problem and we need to look inwards to try and slow the spread. That doesn't mean continuing to look outward is a bad idea, of course, but all this downplaying only stands to make things worse.

Wed genuinely be better of if Trump was calling the Coronavirus the most deadly contagion ever. Of course he isn't using that play book this time because he is terrified of where he'll be if the economy crashes, but again, that horse has already bolted.

Hopefully Bernie performs well today and make things clearer on Super Tuesday.
Yeah, it’s gonna be pretty interesting to see what happens tonight and Super Tuesday.

On the subject of Corona, the Trump Admin will 100% lie about the numbers. They did it two years ago with Puerto Rico as well.

Anyways, go stream #Stupid Love available now on any music streaming service today 💓

Now that Trump has made a deal with the Taliban, has announced troops leaving, and was unable to say what the Taliban gave up for the deal:

Really feels like Mike wasted a ton of money on ads and he's gonna flop in a distant third on Tuesday. This is probably a hail mary.

I'm hoping he's not a distant third because that means Biden's got a good chance to come from behind.

On the other hand, him completely flopping is better from a certain moral perspective.

... Eh. Let the chips land where they may so long as Bloomberg remains in the "no chance in hell of becoming the nominee" category.

I think he'll get above 15% everywhere in the South which should still hurt Biden a lot. They'll probably be closer in delegates vs a distant third tbh.

Yep.

Mike Bloomberg campaign says it’s buying 3 minutes of NBC, CBS airtime around 8:30 ET tomorrow to give brief address on coronavirus.

This campaign is so painfully obvious.
