I find it hard to believe Warren would keep quiet about it if she actually did approach her campaign.
She would have kept quiet if her campaign and others did investigating on their own and found nothing. No point in bringing something up if you can’t verify it. That wouldn’t help anyone, least of all herself.

Bernie should’ve been cultivating someone to run this year.

Someone without his Revolution baggage.

Morning Consult @MorningConsult

British PM Boris Johnson's net approval rating has risen nearly 30 points in a matter of days:

March 16: When Johnson announced new response tactics, net approval stood at +3.

March 24: After week of bolstered restrictions, net approval rose to +30. https://bit.ly/2JhiJnR

Shows you just how weak Trump's rally around the flag has been.

It's impossible to say who could've come out on top without Biden/Bernie in the race. Eg. had Bernie not been in the race Pete wouldn't have had to move right. Warren could've maybe built up a stronger coalition. Hell even someone like Booker or Castro could've made a run.

The problem with having people (white men in particular) with 100% name recognition in the race is it doesn't open up the opportunity for the next Obama-like candidate to rise above the weeds.

This approach *could* make sense. The US is a big country after all, but this approach only works if people stay within their designated communities. You can't have separate guidelines for low and high risk communities if you allow high risk individuals to go to low risk communities, and vice versa.
Locally, people have exhausted local grocery stores, so now Nextdoor is being used to share which nearby county stores have supplies. Gas is cheap, people have nothing but time, and the "stay at home" is county based not state wide and not mandatory. Why wouldn't you load the kids in the car and drive half hour to a Walmart 2 counties over and wonder the aisles. Aleviates boredom and gets you out.

Some in White House share POTUS view that there has to be an end date that people can look toward when life might resume. But division over whether April 12 is overly optimistic.
Shows you just how weak Trump's rally around the flag has been.
Yeah, it's really telling how compared to other leaders in the poll, Trump's not getting the same bump

If people wanted to downplay and excuse rape and sexual assault you should have fucking stayed at the old place. This community is no better.
I don't think acknowledging that voters have shown they simply don't care about this stuff anymore is "downplaying and excusing" it. But there's no reason to think this is going to materially affect Biden's campaign in any real way, and that's America for you. It's not right, in fact it fucking sucks, but look at who is in office. Voters sadly don't care.

Not surprised at Bolsonaro’s numbers. Things are so bad in Brazil that the local gangs are providing better care and direction in the favelas than he is.

This talk of opening by Easter is fantasy imo. The latest Italy numbers came out today. 16 days into a national lockdown they're having more new daily cases than recent days, second highest so far, and deaths have plateaued for the last few days just below the peak. So they've halted the exponential spread, but they're still a long way to getting to near zero daily new cases, which is surely the smart goal to reach before opening up everything. Hard to say how long the total process would take, though China's charts may be a model there. A national lockdown of 5 weeks might do it, whereas Trump in the US is pushing essentially partial lockdowns for 3+ weeks.

So like Trump's Chinese travel ban was simply him attempting to get a leg up in tarriff negotiations and racism right? He just used Corona Virus as an excuse?

Trump is at least smart enough to pretend like he's taking guys like Fauci seriously. Bolsonaro has been basically yelling that the health experts in Brazil are fake news.

Yeah, this Biden story so far seems to be living exclusively in low rent conservative media, not even Fox or OANN have run with it yet. Makes me think it's already been investigated and no corroborating evidence could be found. If Biden did this, used his aides to create a situation where he would be alone with this woman to assault her, it wasn't the first or last time. That's not some rookie move, it's something you've done before and know you could get away with, and there would be other accusers.
Or just sitting on it until Biden has the nomination wrapped up. Like with how that old Cuba stuff got dropped on Bernie right before Super Tuesday.

This is the kinda thing that makes a career, wins you a Pulitzer, you get to write your check. No one in their right mind would risk getting scooped. Odds are people are working on reporting it as we speak.

He already has it wrapped up, though
I'm not talking about the delegate math, I'm talking about actually accepting the party's nomination at the 2020 DNC.

Apparently Ronan Farrow has already reached out. I don't think Fox or OANN are gunning for Pulitzers ;)

I think people just assumed Ronan Farrow is out there trying to break the story because that's what people assume about Ronan Farrow. Someone posted the same thing about Kavanaugh last year. I'm not sure he ever engaged on it.
