So when this game comes out and sells a million copies, will everyone see it on the top sellers list? I hope so, for the outrage.
Do the images in the OP really look like 10 year old to you? There's a big difference between looking young and looking like a fucking 10 year old schoolgirl.
Sorry I must've missed the Nowi character in this can you point them out to me?There's a big difference between looking young and looking like a fucking 10 year old schoolgirl.

I agree with this. It's ridiculous that ultra violent content seems to get a free pass but god forbid you show tits.
Heh, indeed.Valve have gone from developing landmark medium defining games, to selling anime porn
What a ride
Well I say many because looking around even in my own class, there are tons of people who look very young and they're probably the majority. It might not be the case everywhere though, but it's still something to consider. And when we look at anime drawings, it becomes even harder because of the simplicity of lines and features. And then when you get to porn, you don't even get to see them clothed either sometimes, so that's another added layer of difficulty.
If you don't look like an old woman from a Ghibli movie, you're not legal. My takeaway from this thread: A lot of people here wouldn't realize I'm legal. About the actual topic: Why not? Steam sure as hell isn't going to host anything illegal and you're opted out by default so those games aren't going to interfere with either you or me so why are you against them being up on steam?
Do I get to choose? If you don't look like an old woman from a Ghibli movie, you're not legal.
I guess for males it's easier because if you want to make them look older you can just slap some facial hair on them, but yeah it dependsI just feel that if people look at those designs and think "they look like minors in high school" is because that's how female anime high schoolers are designed, so is normal that people thinks that and the paralelisms with real life aren't really useful. Another question would be, does men have the same problem? Adults looking like high school kids in anime? Because I feel that's not the case or at least is not that common. But I don't feel like doing any research on it and so I will left the question in the air.
I wonder how the censored and explicit versions will coexist though. Some people would want the censored version, and the publisher would want to keep it available so customers who don't have explicit games enabled can find it. Could they link to/reference the porn version in the store page of non-explicit one? This game and several of the studio's other titles were already on Steam. Buyers who wanted to see the more graphic content had to download the patch from the studio's website. Valve is just removing a step for the consumer.
I'm 25 but I still get ID'd because I'm part native American and can't grow facial hair. It's the world we live in.I guess for males it's easier because if you want to make them look older you can just slap some facial hair on them, but yeah it depends

News of obviously a good thing? What? And of course news of what is obviously a good thing ends up derailing because some people can't really accept that heavily stylized characters that don't incredibly blatantly look 'adult' aren't automatically underage by default. I'm not cool with underage porn either, but good grief.
It's pretty expected that the first game would be something like this. But since Valve has opened up the biggest PC storefront (and arguably one of the biggest gaming storefronts period) to adult content, I really hope that also means more variety of adult content. You'd be surprised what sorts of things can be possible with sexual content in games.
All these discussions about how old is character in that game is an off topic. Thread was about 18+ games on steam not about anime characters. But as always all threads are derailed to what era users like the most - anime lewds.
Once upon a time in a far off land there was a guy who we will call 0mirAx that used to say if you liked anime then you were a pedophile.
"No, 0mirAx. You are the demons."
And then 0mirAx was a zombie. In prison.
This was kickstarted??
What's so special about this game that there had to be a kickstarter?
No surprise that the first "porno game" on Steam is an anime porno
They're definitely catering to a pedophile audience with this - I don't care how some of you are trying to justify that "they're over 18 but just in high school". This is pedophilia at its finest and absolutely disgusting that Valve is allowing this on their store

If you think those girls look under 18, fine. If you wanna use the pedophile thing, then you're trying to tell me, those girls are depicted as 13 or younger?News of obviously a good thing? What?
The first game is a pedophile baiting anime
"Heavily stylized" yeah they're purposely depicting them to represent underage females - what's so hard to understand?
Oh this is where we're going huhIf you think those girls look under 18, fine. If you wanna use the pedophile thing, then you're trying to tell me, those girls are depicted as 13 or younger?
So you're saying you're only a pedophile if they're depicted as 13 or younger? Is that where we're going with this argument? If you think those girls look under 18, fine. If you wanna use the pedophile thing, then you're trying to tell me, those girls are depicted as 13 or younger?
Oh, for pete's sake, that's incredibly debatable at best and you know it.News of obviously a good thing? What?
