You could have just titled the thread "The best PlatinumGames game is now BC on Xbox One"

Great news! I saw Wario64 was posting about it, so immediately went and nabbed a cheap used copy before the price goes haywire.

Perfect game for BC. I would hope it improves the framerate a bit.

Fun game, why has nobody copied it unless I haven't noticed.

My only negative would be the overheat happens rather quickly but does force you to be varied.

Think it's the only Platinum game I've played that I actually like.

The upscaling will help a ton for this game. There was so much detail lost from being shrunk down to 720p. The PC port proved this in spades

Wouldn't be surprised if they ported over the PC version one day. No excuse really but nice to have both.

IIRC the PS3 version was considered superior because the 360 version had screen tearing, but the Xbox One BC will eliminate that.

Yes, the 360 version had tearing, but slightly better controller response (maybe also slightly better frame rate?). There was also a small bug with shadow rendering on the 360, if I recall correctly?

Yeah, the shadow offset was different. I remember there was something like that in FF XIII as well. But during more chaotic scenes in Vanquish, the 360 version held up better framerate-wise partly because it wasn't v-synced. The demo had worse tearing than the full game though.

I went to order it and got carried away. I almost bought like 3 other games. The god damn mindset I have when it comes to buying cheap games...
