I guess you could say William H Macy is out of a job
Jesus, that's in Vegas? Does this occasionally happen? As in like once every 10-20 years? It's way more than half an inch where I live, and it's still snowing.
I'm in North Phoenix and snow is about a 20 minute drive from me right now. After I hike I'm heading North to see the snow.
I've never seen it anywhere near this much. Once every five years or so there's a light dusting that sticks to plants for half a day, but this is the first time I've actually seen any stick to the ground.Jesus, that's in Vegas? Does this occasionally happen? As in like once every 10-20 years?
Hellooooo!Someone check on Dougie Jones. Make sure he got home ok.
Lancelot Court, red door.
Oh it was raining. Anthem specifically. But it wasn't too bad with a hoodie and jogging pants. My face was cold but that's about it.Where at? I'm assuming on the mountains. I'm in Mesa, and its been nothing but rain all night/morning.
You must be in Arizona because that's a place that gets more than a foot of snow now.
LAS VEGAS - Some Las Vegas neighborhoods are experiencing more than 8 inches of snow during this February winter storm that moved into the valley Wednesday night.
The snow started falling around 6 p.m. and has mostly impacted neighborhoods along the western edge of the valley. However, snow is also falling on the Las Vegas Strip.
The Anthem neighborhood in Henderson has received about 2 to 4 inches of snow but in Summerlin some areas have received as much as 8 inches.
Does Vegas get pretty cold at night during the winter time? I remember going there in March a few years ago and it got to around 40 degrees at night. Only 10 more degrees and add some rain and snow is possible.

This is crazy. As a Vegas resident for 20 years, this has never happened. According to AP, this is the first time since people started recording weather patterns in Vegas (1937) that there's been enough snowfall in the metro area to take measurements.
It's abnormal. Normally our lows only get into the mid 30s-low 40s this time of year. Like, we're usually already headed towards spring in the last half of February. That's wild and i'm sure can't be good for local wildlife.
Is that kind of low temps abnormal during winter or no?
Edit: 8 inches of snow is a lot for anywhere let alone for Vegas! God damn!
