Anyways this movie will prolly suck but I hope they make venom look pretty freaky at least. Plus I'll check it out eventually for the cast
I don't mind it. If the creators of this movie are thinking they got one shot to prove themselves and they think they can do Carnage justice, go for it.
Probably. I can't imagine Hardy doing several movies. He is the only reason I'm holding out a little bit of hope this might be alright. I can't imagine him signing up for a complete shit show.
Not really. If they really wanna go in on a sequel they can bring in the Life Foundation or Jack O'Lantern, who is arguably as psychotic as Carnage.
The movie is based on Planet of the Symbiotes, so you're getting those offspring!
I have a lot more faith in this film than most people here. You don't need spidy to make this work, you just need good writing and directing (They already have a great cast)
If Spiderman isn't in the movie or at most a cameo who do you all expect venom to fight besides Carnage I don't understand why Carnage isn't the answer
That's what I was thinking. I didn't really think a Venom movie would be good for a sequel so a one and done makes sense. And if there's no Spider-man then adding Carnage makes a lot of sense.
It was confirmed a long time ago that Carnage would be the main villain. The fact that people forgot about that really shows just how much of a fuck up this movie is.
I feel like since it's Amy Pascal it's a guarantee we'll be presented all the following things over the 100 or so minutes that is the Venom movie:

I think I'm gonna see this movie whether it's bad or good. Unless Spidey gets some black goo on him in IW, I don't know how in the world they'd introduce Venom, Carnage or any symbiote.

Yeah its probably going to be a train wreck, but I'll be damned if it isn't going to be an interesting one. Maximum Carnage was fucking nuts, loved that run when I was a kid. Fuck it I'm in.
