According to a friend that works there, each shift (lunch/evening/night) gets one staff pie to share between them.
This is the result of stringent policies regarding what those in the pizza business refer to as: "crew pies". I mean, you're a pizza restaurant. Pizza ingredients are notoriously cheap. You pay your employees next to nothing. Let them make a few pizzas per night to feed everybody on shift. Christ.
Add that to the list of reasons why I always just do carryout for pizzas lmao

Domino's employees do not get free pizza on demand. If a customer cancels an order that's already been made then yeah, that one can get eaten. However if an employee messes up a pizza by putting the wrong toppings or whatever, often it just gets trashed, to discourage people from messing up pizzas on purpose.
It makes sense for the guy to get fired, but I hope this doesn't go viral and ruin his life. The offense isn't bad enough for that.

Reminds me of the thread on the old forum where OP was a delivery driver who let his phone battery die, so he just took the sushi order home and had at it.
Right? I worked as a diamond cutter and whenever I ran out of diamonds I just politely asked my boss for some diamonds to take home and I always got quite a few.
