Bruh. Fucking called that shit.

Am I the only one thinking the video is at least somewhat scripted?
  • First guy puts the box down super gently
  • Talks out loud to himself in a really odd way. "Look at my car, dude!" I think if someone was alone the much more natural thing to say is "my car!" or even "dude, my car!" But saying "look" is very strange for someone who's alone.
  • Second one seems pretty real
  • Lady in the house seems scripted. She talks to the box and throws it away in her own private garbage can. Retrieving the device without the thief knowing would be trespassing.
  • The guys in the car seem real since the lid malfunctioned.
  • How did they retrieve the box from the last guy? Unless they just let him have four free phones lol.

Tbh, as someone who've never seen his videos before, "this is probably fake" is the first thing that came to my mind

His friend wanted cool footage and faked two instances. Creator had no idea and when he found out he immediately announced it and removed the fake footage. His response was perfect to the issue. Some of yall are so ready to drag people you come across as hysterically blood thirsty.

There's a history of faked prank videos on YouTube. Someone presents compelling evidence of a fake and the creator provides an explanation. Now it's up to us to believe it or not. People who were initially suspicious of him are now feeling pretty vindicated and are expressing it here in a thread entirely devoted to the topic.

What's strange about any of this to you?

He seems like a nice guy and doesn't make me immediately want to stick a screwdriver into my eye socket to lobotomize myself like 99% of YouTubers, so I will forgive him.

He's blaming the people he paid? Yea okay. Shit looked fake as fuck to begin with. Why would anyone stealing a package not steal the damn package full of cell phones and remove the sim cards?
Because why would you open a package spraying out glitter and a toxic spray? I would probably Chuck that thing into the bay. Or run it over a few times with my truck to be sure my prints were no longer on it.

Yup and surprisingly no one actually did that. Because all of the reactions were fake.

tbh this was blatantly obvious by the sheer amount of "thieves" of whom he conveniently reacquired the package from.

You don't get a second go with things like this. His credibility is zero at this point.
Only a small snippet was fake and it was fake unbeknownst to him. He also removed it. He should have vetted it more, but he fixed the issue. It’s fine.

It wasn’t “all” fake. Only the part he removed after learning a friend of a friend faked their section.

That is if you believe his story. There's no reason to take it at face value.

What about that is convenient for him?
You don't think it's fishy that only 2 of the reactions are truly fake and that he has no direct connection with either and is therefore not the one to be blamed? This dude can't even straight up admit that they were faked. He gotta put it on his friend who doesn't even live in his city lol.

It was pretty obvious from the way people IMMEDIATELY stole the package after it was put it out there but yeah.

And also the part where literally every "package thief" was a POC...prank video culture is so steeped in racism.
Omfg this, I hated all those fake-ass "In da Hood" prank videos perpetuating negative black stereotypes.

As I was watching this video, I kept thinking "please don't be black, please don't be black". So I was relieved that the 2 black package thieves turned out to be fake, but pissed that they intentionally got 2 black people to fake a package theft.

Not shocked at all from the first viewing. I mean... It's like "oh shit under all this glitter is 4 free iPhones! Oh no they got location on! There's most certainly no way around that! Throw it out of the car man."

An example of thing's wrong with a fair few people on the internet is they read titles and don't read content.
